I’ve got nothing against lipgloss. Adding a little flavor to things never hurt. Just don’t coat your mouth with the stuff. The natural taste and feel are damn nice too though.
Put me down for one of each and I’ll let you know.
Lipgloss is OK. Lipstick sucks. Hell to get off and it tastes like candle wax. Natural is good, lipgloss should be applied conservatively (I know it’s nice not to feel like your lips are dry)
I don’t like lipstick or lipgloss…the look or the feel/taste.
She knows how I feel about it, and she knows that I’ll make a comment if she wears either. She smiles, and I kiss her anyway. But sometimes she wipes it off, just for me. What a sweetie!
I haven’t kissed a woman with lipgloss since I was a teenager. But yeah I think I remember kissing a girl w/lipgloss was very cool. Hell just kissing a girl period back then was cool.
[slight highjack] Do older women wear this stuff?[slight highjack]
I almost never wear lipstick or lipgloss - both give me that “gunky” feeling. If I know my picture is going to be taken, I’ll usually opt for a lipstick. I generally just use Vaseline lip therapy, which is just petroleum jelly with sunscreen.
ladies, please tell me if i am right about something…
i dressed up as a glam rocker/david bowie-esque character for a party once and my brother’s girlfriend had got me lip gloss (bubblegum flavored) for the costume. it tasted pretty good and it was really quite nice. went well with the costume, too.
i ended up “hooking up” with a girl there, and to make a long story short, she was TOTALLY in to the lip gloss on my lips. it turned her on that I was wearing it. and it doesn’t end there. many girlfriends since have worn lipgloss and because of that first time, i was indifferent that they put it on me from time to time. and it really got THEM going to. it really made THEM get off more, and in turn, was a lot better for me…
so, now i have absolutly NOTHING against the stuff…in fact I promote it in all its colors and flavors. it is a turn on in many ways, and really, if you’re getting down and dirty, a little greasy lip gloss is nothing when it comes to other such slimyness emitted from a myriad of bodily orifices…
so just out of curiosity, for the women reading this, would you find it a TURN ON if your man wore lip gloss too? (only when kissing you, of course. i’m sure your man wearing it too work and church and the courthouse or whatever isn’t that attractive…)
My boy likes this one lipgloss (it’s more like chapstick with flavor) that I have - it reminds him of our first date. He’s really into smells, though. So when I wanna make him nostalgic, I throw on all the scents I wore on our first date (including the lipgloss).
I call my chapstick “lipgloss” so this whole thread is confusing me horribly.
I use/wear berry flavored chapstick a lot. I nearly always have one with me. (I also have a horrible habit of chewing my lower lip whenever I’m bored/thinking. Hence the chapstick.) Its not a makeup thing, or at least I haven’t thought of it as such, since I self qualify that I “don’t wear makeup”.
Its not for looks, its because it makes my lips feel nice. But my boyfriend dislikes it. (like it or lump it, lover…) He deals, being the sweet hearted darling that he is.
Does chapstick count as lipgloss though? And if so, is lipgloss makeup?
I like the taste of flavored lip gloss on my lips, and would very much like to experience a kiss where the other person was wearing it. However, I really don’t know how to say “honey, could you put on some lip gloss?” to my boyfriend without having an Awkward Moment.
So I’ll just put it on my own lips and lick it off myself. He tastes good enough as it is :D.
