External threats can’t do it either, otherwise you could have jackasses burning a cross on someone’s lawn and watching in satisfaction as their kids are hauled away.
There’ll need to have been something really overt going on in that family for this to stand; if it’s on a political/philosophical basis the ACLU will be all over this case. If you took away kids because of stupid hate-filled indoctrination by their parents, we’d have to build thousands of facilities to house them all.
I don’t know for sure if the kids were taken. They live very close to me but I am not home right now (I do not know the family or exactly where they live, just the town). I have dealt with DYFS and work often. I predict it went something like this. The news story broke. Multiple people complained to DYFS about then children being abused. Once they receive a complaint DYFS can not ignore it or assume the kids are OK because they look fine on a news report. They are obligated to go see for themselves. Especially due to some famous cases in recent years when children have died after the parents were reported. If the children were removed it was because of what was found at the house, not just because of the names. My educated guess.
Really, if you’re going to name your kid after mass-murdering Nazi scum, wouldn’t you at least take the time to look up the correct spelling of the name?

Well, considering the fact that Little Nakoa-Wolf has a native Hawaiian father, that’s not really such a “weird” or “bad” name–although damned if I know what “Wolf” has to do with Hawaii.

This may sound like a strange request but has anyone seen a story where they give the street they live on? It is the next town over but Holland Township is quite large (in area, not population). I don’t want to visit, I would like to know how close they live to me.
