China just pooped – I got to watch, yay! No wonder the stall needs picking so often. At least she seems to do all her dumps in one corner area, more or less.
My Morgan is great about that sort of thing. Not so much my Thoroughbred, alas.
ETA! A human is in to pick the poop! Interesting technique – using a bamboo rake into a box-on-handle thingie.

Does it start getting dangerous that she’s so overdue?
I’m guessing it’s pretty common. Tia’s only 10 days “overdue”, which would put her at 350 days, I think. Here’s one that’s at 358+ days. Average gestation is anywhere from 320 to 370 days, with the longest recorded gestation with a live delivery of 445 days. At least, that’s what I read on the internet.
445 days!? Ye gads, that’s waaaaaaaaaaaay overdue!
Huh. As of midday Tia’s tail isn’t even wrapped, other than a small band up near the top. I wonder what that means?

Tia’s tail is wrapped again. And hanging straight down. 
China the Poop Queen has deposited a pile in the center of her stall this time. Tsk tsk.
They just re-wrapped Tia’s tail. The whole thing, not a hair showing. She’s huge. I wish they’d post update’s like the did with Shezza.
Farrier was here today. I’ve been feeding Nakota like crazy, and thought she still looked thinner (she’s now getting 5 lbs of 12% supreme sweet feed, vitamins and corn oil, twice a day, 4 times as much grain as Irish). He said he thought she looked like she’d gained some weight, and to stop worrying.

I don’t think China could lay down flat anymore than a bowling ball could.
