Live from MO Dope: Can You Hear Me Now?

It’s crappy weather right now. Drizzling rain all morning and about 45-50 degrees.

So it’s the zoo this time, eh? Gay bar wasn’t enough for you? Though I think I could stand to witness some sweet monkey love. The last time I was at the Topeka zoo a gorilla and I had a staredown contest. He gave up after 20 minutes. Punk.

I’ll take on any animal at the zoo you point out. Hell, I’m pretty sure I could make the quills stand straight up on a porcupine now. All thanks to sperfur and her Magic Tongue. She is my sensai, my samurai, my…uh…my something.

Your Master of Sinanju, young man, and don’t you forget it.

Okay, withaK, I’ve been reading too much lately and I’m gettin’ an attitude.

That picture of you is incredibly sexy. The whole raised eyebrow, slight look of anger. And withaK is giving me that “What’cha got?” look that inspired the caption… I showed the pictures to Lisa yesterday morning and said “Aren’t they hot?” “Oh, yeah.”

She thought (and I agree) that all the guys at this dopefest were gorgeous. After she looked at the pics, she said “You had a bunch of hotties at your house this weekend, didn’t ya?” Take that, Mr. ‘Where you gonna find cute guys at a dopefest?’ :stuck_out_tongue:

Its not me that needs new glasses…

I wish you had taken the camera to the bar or at least used it when we got back. You were the only one who could have kept track of it, since you were sober. Next time…

Oh, I am so looking forward to the zoo.

I just got off the phone with Cousin Patty. She’s called me twice to tell me how much she enjoyed everyone yelling “Thank you Aunt Patty” (she now prefers that moniker, for some reason). We just made her week.

When did we yell at Aunt Patty? Did I miss it?

Was your friend Lisa referring to the plastic version of us, or the flesh and blood version? I thought Skip’s avatar was pretty smokin’ myself. He took the pudding like a real man.

BTW, withaK, I think Pizza Bitch would be such a cool poster name for you. Or you could put it in your sig, like so:

I’m misstee’s pizza bitch.

Very cyberpunkish, like the Deliverator from Snow Crash.

Does Oct. 19th sound like a doable date for the zoo? I know someone that has a zoo fetish and would be willing to pose nude with the llamas for more picture taking opportunities.

 you weren’t supposed to tell anyone about my thing with llamas.

Clarification: I love everything about the Zoo except for the llamas. I did a report on those suckers in 9th grade, which included three hours of taking notes over everything they did. And I do mean everything. I know those stupid animals so well now. (And actually, the Zoo only has one llama. The other one is an alpaca.)

It was during the game of strip Trivial Pursuit.
I’m certain sperfur said it was her aunt on the the phone not her cousin.
I wasn’t so drunk that I misheard her, was I?

Holy cow, I must’ve been drunk. I sincerely do not remember a phone call during the game. I remember lots of questions that had Cecil Adams as the answer, as well as many, many pictures of cats staring at us.

BTW, Cecil Adams is not the answer to any Strip Trivial Pursuit game. I just wanted to get nekkid.

It was after withaK broke the lamp, Horseflesh, I think you still had your pants on then.

Nope. I was so drunk I forgot who she was…

She called to see how the party had gone. I told her the party was going to last all night and that we were playing Trivial Pursuit (I conveniently left out the Strip part and that fact that I was naked while I was standing there talking to her… ). Then I told everyone that Aunt Patty (oops) had provided the recipes, held up the phone and everyone said “Thank you, Aunt Patty.” (She’s in her late 50’s, so she’s really more like an aunt than a cousin, anyway.)

She’s just tickled pink. She gushed on the phone about how nice that was of us. Then she told me if she’d had a daughter, she’d have wanted one just like me. {Everybody say ‘awwww…’}

She’s also the one that taught me how to make those lyme pickles - you know, the green ones that taste like liquid sugar.

Flesh and blood, baby, flesh and blood.

smacks lips

Yummy.

He is if the question reads, “Who, besides SkipMagic, does not want to see Horseflesh nekkid?”

See? A game the whole family can enjoy!

I just found out that Jake Johannsen is going to be performing in St. Louis at the Funnybone on November 6-8 and in Overland Park, KS at Stanford & Son’s on May 28-31. He is one of my all time favorite comedians. Who wants to go?

Horseflesh I think the game was over, and you were writing the OP of this very thread when Cousin/Aunt Patty called.

And I thought misstee couldn’t do the zoo until the 25th.

misstee checking in. The 19th works out for me. It’s one of those “freaky” days that isn’t a Saturday. I guess I should mention some of us have communicated via e-mail about this.

spurfer I now give you the joy of finding out all the information we may need. Zoo admission, hours, etc.

Erika I am fairly sure that “Aunt Patty” called while we were still playing. I think Horseflesh was just out of it.
