What the hell happened to “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”?
I can’t believe it was Renteria. Totally useless all year. And Burrell…the best thing you can say about him in the WS is that he hasn’t hit into many double plays. Man, Burrell owes Renteria a beer. 
They probably do it after they go to commercial.
Gotta love the reaction by Rowand when Renteria hit the home run. Yeah, he was excited, but he gave no impression that they might have just won the World Series on that swing. The Giants seem to be taking absolutely nothing for granted.

I was a little surprised Bochy didn’t pinch hit for Burrell there.
Time to pull Lincecum. I don’t care how well he’s been pitching. The Giants have this game all but won; they can’t afford to give it away now.
My dad thinks I’m crazy, but I’m thinking if the Giants win I’m going to drive into the city to party. (I’ll have to hunt down TroyMcClureSF.) How often do the Giants win the World Series? I don’t want to miss out out on the fun.
ETA: as soon as I said that, I felt suddenly exhausted. Maybe not. I’m old now.

The Fox guys are raking Washington over the coals again, for pitching to Renteria (instead of pitching around him to get to Rowand) and for not trying to bunt runners over earlier on.
I’m IN the city and I’m not even sure where I would go to celebrate… Hate the fact that I’m home alone watching this.
I went to the White Sox victory parade in 2005. I’m not even really a White Sox fan, but hell, tickertape parade! I took the day off work to go. It was AWESOME.
No way would I miss a parade for the Giants. Oh my god, I’ve waited my entire fucking life for this. Goddamn Giants, made me cry in 1993 and 2002, and let’s not forget the PTSD over 1989 (that may not be the Giants’ fault, I can’t remember how that works).

I’m not sure I blame Washington for not walking Renteria, who is having a good playoffs but is not, after all, Albert Pujols. Such things so often go wrong when done earlier in the game.
Washington hasn’t covered himself with glory, though.
