DVR? Too late now obviously, but if you can you should look into them. Totally change the way you use TV. I deliberately didn’t watch the first hour and half of the game last night, just so I’d feel comfortable fast-forwarding through the commercials later. I watched the first three games after 10 at night.
Yeah, i guess we should actually get a DVR one of these days. Just never gotten around to it.
For some reason, though, i’ve also always been somewhat averse to watching recorded sports, especially in cases where i already know the score. I could probably avoid the result if i tried really hard, but i’m not really willing to put that sort of effort in. I like watching live.
OK, that’s fair. I forget that for some people this series isn’t actually a matter of life and death.
We can’t give up. Gotta believe.
Sounds like the fans are really into it, which is nice to hear. I have to say that the Rangers’ fans haven’t exactly impressed me with their level of enthusiasm thus far. But they seem more with it today.
Okay, that’s the top of the first. Go Giants!
That’s a better first inning than last time. Maybe Lee will have his stuff this go round.
Hey, maybe we’ll get our long-awaited pitching duel tonight…
So…first to catch hold of one and hit a dinger wins it?
Probably. Or a walk, an error and a sac fly. Could be that kinda game.
Aaaarrgghhhh…so close!
OK Giants…here’s your chance…you may not get another one…
That was the first sacrifice bunt by Aubrey Huff in his entire career.
Having your cleanup hitter sacrifice…that’s either genius or really stupid. I’ll go with…genius.
I can’t believe Burrell is up in a critical situation.
We’ll find out soon enough. The way Bochy has been managing this series, I’m not about to second-guess him now.
I just gotta say…what a game!
Jesus Christ, Burrell. You don’t need to actually try to hit a homer on every single fucking pitch.
Oh! Renteria!
omgomgomgomomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg.
!!!
Genius!
3-0 Giants!!!
Heh. I live in San Jose, and I can hear cheers coming from all of my neighbor’s places.
