Does anybody know what’s with the what appear to be rope necklaces that most of the Rangers are wearing? Andres Torres has been wearing one all season, and I figured it was just a personal thing, but it seems that practically all of the Rangers have them. Am I missing the latest fashion trend, thus proving that I’m now officially old?

Lots of ballplayers wear them. They just had Andres Torres of the Giants on the screen, and he has one on.

It’s some bizarre fad for millionaire ballplayers to wear soap-on-a-rope ropes around their necks. Damned if I know why.

There’s the Rangers I’ve come to know and love. Walking in a run on 12/13 straight pitches out of the strike zone. You gotta love a team that can FIND bad bad luck like that. They can be so good and so bad in the same game.
