I won’t clutter GQ with something like this, but oh man…
Ok, so I’m on LJMatch. One of the people on my “hot list” is this incredibly gorgeous guy who’s not really that far away, has a high match rating, and looks to have similar interests as myself. Anyway, long story short, I hate LJMatch.
A friend of mine used the “view journal” option (free) on LJMatch to look at some of their match’s entries. Using a google search, he was easily able to find this guy’s journal from some key words in his entries. FOR FREE. LJMatch wants, like, $5 just so I can “send a note” to this guy. I won’t even get his username, AIM SN, or anything. So I’m not thrilled about that option.
So, the problem is, his journal is friends-only and he has 2 public entries. Google searching was pointless. I tried a region search, but he isn’t listed. I’ve done so many searches on various things, and I’m coming up short. Needless to say, it sucks 
So, I hate LJMatch because there’s this guy that I’m enamored with that I can’t talk to. My mundane and pointless question was if anyone knew of any LJ-archive type sites, where searching for his public entry may yield better results? Or anything?
Has anyone had any luck with LJmatch?
