Has anyone else had an issue getting pages to load? I thought it was the iPad at first, but I don’t have a problem with any other websites.
Yes—in fact there are TWO threads at the top of this very page about it. It’s been an issue for months.
The top three threads in this very forum deal exclusively with page loading issues that have been enduring for a long time now.
So… Yes.
As I have said before, we are looking to do what we can in the short term to make things as stable as possible here.
The system is so decrepit and the database is so large that it just chokes and locks up every so often. Often too often.
There is really no permanent fix for it except upgrading or moving to a new platform altogether, which management is exploring.
This change cannot come soon enough for our beleaguered users and we know that, but it’s a business prospect that cannot be hurried. Whatever they come up with we will have to live with for a long time going forward – this last major upgrade was like ten years ago – so they want to make the best decision they can for you. And it has to be implemented which has its own timetable, it’s not an overnight thing.
So for the time being, it sucks. We all apologize for your hassles here. It WILL get better. But not tonight.
Please bear with us as we work through this and come out on the other side.

I started getting * vote on this page successful *today, Feb 29. It wants an OK click to proceed. I’ve been hitting the back button instead.
It’s a little concerning. I hope malware isn’t responsible.
It’s happening on my PC now, too, not just smartphone - ***“an embedded page on this page says, vote successful!” *** Yes, what is this? Haven’t seen it until recently. Is it Malware?
