London_Calling is right. It seems like lately we’ve been inundated with pathetic, self-indulgent teenagers who could not catch a clue if it crawled in their ear and started fucking their brain.
Lobsang is the master of thin-skinned defensiveness. In order to remain true to his art, he should really stop by and point out that he only started the thread because other people have done similar things in the past. The he should really start in with the personal threats, and descend predictably into his usual “I’m cooling down and getting drunk now” mode, before the finale of the “I’m a board addict- pity me!” song’n’dance.
I’m real sorry you find it so difficult to grow a thicker skin, pal. Maybe you should try thinking before you post once in a while, then you won’t have to deal with people telling you your threads are bad ideas. And really, if you can’t stand some stranger on a message board being less than polite to you, how do you get through a single day in real life? One thing I have to say - calling people names is really not necesary. It is easy to criticise someone without resorting to the childishness of namecalling.
I AM OK WITH BEING CRITICISED! But I make an issue of being called pathetic, bullshit, etc… a) because it DOES hit a nerve, and b) because there is absolutely not positive/productive reason to do it!!
I am ok with finding out (from this thread) that half of the sdmb thinks I am a waste of space.
Actually, I’ve checked the numbers and it’s more like 75%.

Lobsang Rampa was a writter as well. IIRC, he claimed to be a bhuddist monk but it turned out to be a fraud. I think I read one of his books a long time ago, something about a cat, I think. Does anyone else know about this?
