Are giant lobsters actually any good to eat? I have no designs on this one, but I do love me some lobster rolls.

If we’re talking about Maine lobster (Homarus americanus) my experience is that the smaller ones are sweeter, up to about 3 pounds. Over that I don’t feel like they’re quite as tasty AND I feel guilty about eating something that managed to survive 25+ years in the icy north atlantic.
That’s what I expect.
If it comes from the Lobster Pot in Wareham, just outside of Boston, then, yes. Yes, I would love a lobster roll. If it comes from the Crab Shack in Rochester, NY, I’ll pass.
I’m pretty much asking about a giant lobster, like the 18lb. 75 y/o one in the link. Well, maybe not that big, but big.
You’re not a partner in the Lobster, are you?
