I think what you want is supposed to be there, but it’s broken.
When you select “Search by User Name” and “Search in Subject Only”, it should just return threads you’ve started.
waterj2 you’re pathetic. What an ego! Yes people are always talking about you in threads you’re not on, all 3 threads like that. But you don’t want to know what they say. Well maybe you do. They say you’re pathetic, and pathetic people need to hear that to their face every now and again.
bongel (yes I know about the change, but you’ll always be bongel to me) watch out! That scary extra sig space is back! AHHH!
Pink: That feature only searches for posts you’ve made. If you choose “Search in Subject Only” it returns posts that you’ve made, not posts about you, or using your name in them. I always have to search by subject only, or I’d get back a million posts of

Monkey heads… gaaaaahhhhhhhh

And I don’t need THAT. It also stops me from bringing up every single Silver Fire or wolfman post, who are both using my name in their sigs. (Thanks, guys! ;))
I don’t think that “search in subject only” is supposed to do anything, for a search by username. As for multiple folks in a thread, I’m pretty sure that you can just put the names into the search field separated by a space.
Actually, I just tried it. Apparently, that’ll give you threads where the one person posts immediately after the other. For instance, if I enter “Chronos DrMatrix” into the search engine (without the quotes), I get a list of all those threads where the good Dr posted immediately after me. This might give you what you want, Homer, but it doesn’t work if anyone posts in between.
The folks at Jelsoft have to be able to write or steal a better search engine than that… I’m sure that someone out there, somewhere, has written a fully-functional GNUware SQL search program.
