I have a Gap shirt like that that I bought years ago. Basically, it’s a dress shirt, but the material is basic white cotton, versus the crisp/“hard” feeling of typical white button up shirts.
So basically, it looks like any white dress shirt, but it’s soft and can be ironed to look good with a tie, or worn with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of shorts.
I’m having no luck finding a similar one anywhere.
Does anyone have any idea where I can find a similar shirt? I picture the shirts that Jamie wears on Mythbusters to be similar.
I’m not trying to be too much of a smartass, but have you tried shopping at the Gap and asking the sales people for help? Maybe bring the shirt in with you to see if they still carry shirts from that same manufacturer?
Poly/cotton do okay without ironing, but all cotton demand ironing.
Start at 25 and go to 50, but now on sale for 34.99.
I wore these for decades, sent them to a laundry and they still lasted.
ETA: I think the “crisp” material you are talking about is broadcloth, whereas the “regular cotton” you talk of is oxford cloth. Kind of like a light canvas texture.
If you have the bucks, Nordstrom’s “Boat Shits” are also great.
