I finally got an Ipod touch, but now I can’t find a case that I like. They all appear to be so garbagey, cheaply made, and really not designed to actually take good care of the machine in question (the fact that apple makes devices that are so fragile right out of the box, thus necessitating the immediate purchase of an expensive case, is its own irritation).
I really need something that’ll protect the housing AND screen while still providing full functionality and charging - basically, I want it to live in this protective case whether it’s sitting on my desk or I’m tossing it in my man-purse to go do stuff. I don’t need it to be super shock-resistant or anything like that as long as I can toss it in a bag along with some books, headphones, my cell phone, etc. and it won’t get all scratched up.
Ideally, I’d like something that combines the protection of a full case - that is, something that completely encloses the unit, including the screen, so that there’s more than just a thin laminate screen protector between it and keys/etc. that may bump into it, but that can open up or pop off clamshell-style or whatever so as to be transparent to use.
There are a billion on the market. Help!
