This was a bagged “Captain Crunch” type cereal with a squirrel on the front. It does not exist any more (I think), and all I need is a picture of the front of the bag. Please help.
Was this a Malt-O-Meal product? They have a Berry Crunch cereal but no squirrel seen here.
Honey nut Clusters have a squirrel.
No squirrel on that one, and it looks like a current cereal.
Not bagged, and definitely not Honey Nut Clusters. This was a bagged cereal with a squirrel on the front. Might be a store brand.
Oh. Honey nut is name brand.
Theres a cocoa rice with a squirrel thats cheaper branded.
I’m still looking.
There’s a Safeway branded cereal with a psychotic squirrel on it.
I wish I could post photos.
That is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on packaging.
Oh crap. It’s called peanut butter Crackles.
That’s truly scary.
That’s it! It came in both bag and box, it seems. The regular “Crackles” had a mascot dubbed “Skippy The Crack Squirrel” at Orycon…then we saw the squirrel on the “Peanut Butter Crackles” cereal bag and it just scared us.
If you’re asking “Please”, why not tell us why you need it?
I’d be glad to ask around … if I know there’s a point to it… or it’s for a good cause. I do have clients in the grocery field, but they’re going to ask why I need it.
I am reviving the “Cereal and Toons” portion of the Orycon Hospitality suite, and I would like to show it off and maybe put it on a flag. Also, seems it the original I sought with the squirrel on the front was “Berry Crackles”. That squirrel was only slightly wacked out.
That’s great, thanks! You should solicit other whacky mascots! I’d drop in for good “Cereal and Toons”!
Whoo hoo!
I helped.
bowing “thank you, thank you!!”
Cereal and Toons is held on Saturday morning at Orycon, where I put out a lot of “cereal bomb” type cereal (and one box of Uncle Sam cereal), and show cartoons like the trio of Bugs Bunny opera cartoons, Duck Amuck, some Speed Racer, some Beany and Cecil, Archies, and that very special “Viper” episode of G.I.Joe. Probably have a pajama contest. Definitely need a large picture of “Skippy” for this event.
