Looking for music videos featuring martial arts

My martial arts DVD collection has been growing too slowly recently. There’s too much crap and not enough gold. So, I figure I might as well start a collection of music videos that have martial arts.

Any suggestions? I have “when it’s over” by Sugar Ray with the homage to Game of Death, and Black Label Society’s Overlord.

Well the obvious. Someone made Jet Li Kung Fu Fighting

Presidents of the United States of America - “Peaches”.

LOOK OUT!

Heh forgot about those…I got the old and new versions of Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting.

peaches rocks, thanks.

David Guetta vs. The Egg features capoeira/parkour.

There’s the “Get yourself high” clip of the Chemical Brothers. Awesome clip that uses an old kung fu flick (I’ve seen the movie but I dont remember the name. I think it’s one of the “Poison” series). Definitely a clip to see.

Here’s 10. The highlight for me is Vanilla Ice- “Ninja Rap” featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Presidents of the United States of America, “Peaches” Ninjas!

Sepultura, “Attitude” **UFC legend and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Royce Gracie!
**

Busta Rhymes - Dangerous (link spoilered for dirty words)

Sweep the Leg by No More Kings

Nobody mastered kung fu like the Bee Gees!

Fast forward to about 3:50!

Muse, Knights of Cydonia…lots of old-school nods to campy kung fu flics

Bonnie Tyler, Total Eclipse of the Heart…Ninjas! Not so much martial arts, just jazzercizing in ninja outfits.

Beastie Boys, Sabotage…cutaway to an old kung fu guy looking awesome

Your Hands (Together)” by the New Pornographers is set in a dojo, but is probably more acrobatics/dancing in gi than actual martial arts. I like the band, though, so I’m still linking to it.

Man, I hadn’t watched that video in a year or two. Hilarious. :stuck_out_tongue:

That also features fencing, which is definitely a martial art even if it’s European and not Asian in origin.

This 5 minute clip of the Diva Dance from The Fifth Element.

It’s not a music video but it is a complete 5 minute song within the film. The martial arts starts about 3.5 mins in.

One of my fave film excerpts

Look on Youtube for “Serenity Defying Gravity.” Some enterprising Firefly fan cut together all of the bits of “River fights the Reavers” fight scene back together into the original sequence as it was filmed. Pretty amazing shit for a ballerina.
