Looking for writers for a video game-focused website

I don’t really know how to start this, so I’ll just jump right in. I run a video game-focused website, Gaming Target (http://www.gamingtarget.com) and we are in the process of looking for some new writers. Several long time writers have moved on to new and different things in their life, so we need some fresh blood.

Interested writers would be expected to write at least one review, preview or feature article a week. For those that couldn’t commit to that kind of output, we also have a “contributor” position for people who want to turn in pieces less frequently.

We attempt to cover as much of the video game world as possible and as such we encourage our writers to write about any current or past systems. Obviously our main focus is on the current “active” systems: the PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PC.

The site is entirely volunteer, no one is paid, and all money made goes back into the site for server costs and other site-related expenses.

I asked C K Dexter Haven beforehand, and he has given this thread his blessing.

So if anyone is interested, you may send me a private message, email me directly at john (at) gamingtarget.com (please put “SDMB Writers” in the subject line) or respond to this thread and I’ll to answer any questions you have.

Thank you.
