I am a among the ilk that believes that either Michael hallucinated the messages from Waaaaaaaaalt or that it’s somehow a trick/trap.
If we assume that the message was trying to get him to go somehere, I think we can be certain that something more complex, and dangerous, is going on-- especially if he thinks he has to go alone.
Besides, why isn’t WAAAAAAAALT! communicating with his dad the way he communicated to Shannon and Sayid…?
Nah, I don’t see that level of conspiracy (to get Michael to take off on his own). It’s been so long since there was an obvious menace out in the woods (days, at least), that they’ve all taken to wandering off alone into the woods any time they feel like it, day or night, and nobody thinks anything about it.
Maybe it’s because he knows Michael isn’t fluent in Sdrawkcab?

So I recorded the rerrun to get the tail number from the plane. But I didn’t record at high enough quality to read it :smack: It is definitely begins with “N”, and ends in “A”. I think it was N27??A.
Someone on the net claims it was N3785A.
