Locke’s also not the only one who’s been healed. Jin wasn’t able to get Sun pregnant until the island – so there’s another healing by the island. I agree with you – that it’s not really a reused storyline, unless we consider any new healing by the island to be a tired reuse of a theme. But I think that’s supposed to BE one of the major themes, hence the repetition.

Don’t forget Sawyer’s bullet wound. He seems to be all healed and that was what? A week ago or so.

He recovered pretty quickly after Sayid severed an artery in his arm, too. He was down at the swimming hole with Kate within a week.

I’m going to spoiler-box this just in case, but on the IMDb, the actor who plays Walt is listed as being on the show from 2004-2005, just like Maggie Grace, who played Shannon and the guy who played Boone (can’t think of his name right now, possibly because I don’t like him very much), whose characters have both died.

I don’t think it’s spoiling anything to say that Malcom David Kelly (Walt), Maggie Grace (Shannon) and Ian Somerhalder (Boone) are listed as being on the 2004-2005 season. That was LAST year!

If you mean the current 2005-2006 season, that’s not a spoiler either, since all three of them have appeared in earlier episodes of Season 2.

:smack: Sorry, I mis-read your post. You mean their time with the show ENDED in 2005. My bad! In any case, I wouldn’t take the IMDb very seriously. I think much of the info is submitted by people who assume too much, and is not necessarily based on fact.

Somewhat tangential: I ran into Ian Somerhalder at a restaurant last year (the night the episode aired where Shannon got shot). I told him he was missed on the show, and he said “Oh man, I miss Hawaii.” He didn’t say he’d never be on again, but it sounded pretty final to me.

I rewatched the episode last night. I definitely think the new black rock was meant to be significant.

Anyone that has it, listen carefully when the rock comes into focus behind them.

There is a slight change in the music that I believe is a cue to pay attention. There is one sharp note (on a piano); the kind which usually accompanies a startling moment in television or film.

It is very slight and I had to watch it five times to make sure I wasn’t hearing things. But it was definitely intentional.

I am still not sure that Jin actually impregnated Sun.
I think she is carrying the bald guy’s love-child.
I get this because every time we see Jin glowing like a proud father-to-be the camera pans over to Sun looking completely miserable.

They could just be trying to mislead us make us think that she fooled around with BaldLee but her concerned looks could just be being worried about being pregnant and having a baby out in the middle of nowhere with one doctor who likes to run around risking his life and a group of unknown crazies that like to kidnap pregnant women.

According to my sources the final episode’s flashbacks will be Desmond’s. I hope so! I want to know what happened to him, how he got on the island, what has been happening while he was there and where the hell he has been all the rest of this season!
