Exactly. I don’t believe that Ben is always in control of a situation - but I do think that he was in that case. To be believable as chump Henry Gale he had to get caught in a trap - but certainly the leader of The Infamous Others wouldn’t get caught in something like that.

The new podcast is out. There aren’t a lot of big revelations, but:

  1. They say they’re reairing Part 1 first with an extended press conference scene (not “enhanced” or whatever they called the pop-up version of the repeats) with additional questions and answers.

  2. They noted the antipodal relationship between Tunisia and Lost Island was no accident

and

  1. they also noted that Jack is in the same situation as Ben, Michael, and Widmore. Specifically, they say that the car accident that happened when he was about to jump was one example of the Island not letting him die.
