Wha-a-a? I bought mine at BB yesterday and I have the receipt for the theatrical release at home. I saw nothing in the ads or in the store about a discount.

Not watched it yet. As a matter of fact, we haven’t seen any of them since ROTK in the theatre. We are going to do the marathon thing this weekend, and we didn’t want to be sick of them.
We’re going to go out Friday and buy lots of snackies and stuff! And then watch on Saturday.

I got the Tchotchke Edition at Costco for $49.99.
I see that there is a box set available of all the extended editions available at Best Buy for $109.99 if you’re here in the Great White North.
I decided that I was going to wait until they released all of the extended editions together in one box set before I bought it. Does anyone know any other place in Canada that carries it? Don’t seem to be able to find it.

I thought I’d just write in to make you guys jealous by saying that I just got my wife the limited edition Collector’s DVD Gift Set, in a plastic box with a Richly Detailed Minas Tirith Polystone Keepsake Box. There aren’t a lot of these left, according to the girl at Suncoast, where it was $70 (US). If you can pony up the cash, it’s pretty ooh-aah inspiring.

I haven’t, although I didn’t really look either. I picked Return of the King extended yesterday at a&b Sound for $34.99 yesterday. I noticed that the coupons inserted inside the box included a coupon for the “slipcover” that you can store all 3 extended editions in. It costs $4.
