Louis Farrakhan Urges Africans and His Followers to Avoid Covid 19 Vaccine

Farrakhan Accuses Fauci And Bill Gates Of Plotting To ‘Depopulate The Earth’...

Speaking at Nation of Islam headquarters in Chicago, Farrakhan urged African leaders and his followers to avoid accepting vaccines and medications developed by Western scientists.

“I say to my brothers and sisters in Africa, if they come up with a vaccine, be careful. Don’t let them vaccinate you with their history of treachery through vaccines, through medication,” Farrakhan said during the speech, which he gives annually on the Fourth of July.

He is right that medicine has a horrible history concerning black people:

But this advice at this time is just misguided.

He then pushed a popular but unfounded conspiracy theory that Fauci and Gates are working on a vaccine for the purposes of population control.

“They’re making money now, plotting to give seven billion, five-hundred million people a vaccination.
Dr. Fauci, Bill Gates and Melinda — you want to depopulate the Earth. What the hell gave you that right? Who are you to sit down with your billion to talk about who can live, and who should die?” Farrakhan said.

“That’s why your world is coming to an end quickly, because you have sentenced billions to death, but God is now sentencing you to the death that you are sentencing to others,” he continued.

Religion mixed with paranoia is infinitely more likely to depopulate the earth than a vaccine to a highly contagious deadly disease.

Farrakhan’s remarks closely resemble those of anti-vaccination activists, as well as some conservatives who have leveled unfounded allegations about Fauci’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

One popular conspiracy theory is that Fauci is prolonging the duration of the coronavirus pandemic by proposing a series of economic lockdowns and social distancing policies until a vaccine is developed.

Great. We have the doucheliscious duo: Trump and Farrakhan, unraveling civilization from opposite ends of the spectrum. Now is the time for black and white people to come together to inoculate society against this dangerous crap.

My fault for being unclear. I meant does it matter if there is a vaccine NOW because Farrakhan is spreading the paranoid nonsense that people should not get the vaccine when its released because it’s a plot to kill them.
This is the same sort of stupidity that Trump spreads by pretending that the virus is nothing for his followers to take seriously.
These two are going to get lots of both of their followers killed. And lots of innocents who interact with them.

Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam have been promoting the antivax line for some time. They opposed SB 277, the California bill to crack down on “philosophic” vaccine exemptions, with Farrakhan saying:

White antivaxers have previously targeted the black community (Somalis in Minnesota are another example, leading to measles resurgence). All we need are enough vaccine refusers to torpedo herd immunity to Covid-19 once we get a vaccine, and this mess will go on indefinitely.
