Why don’t you just tell your husband that the only reason you married him is that your “perfect” man was out of the picture? I think he would appreciate your honesty.

Update:
Now that I am back in the U.S. and have had a little rest, I can see things better. I was being very silly. Hubby knows about the Email. I bit the bullet and told him, I even let him read it so he would know that no offers of illicit behaviour were forthcoming. We had a really long talk and some really awkward moments. However, it was actually a blessing in that I was able to answer all of his questions about “H”(who he already knew about), how I felt about my married life now and everything else he had always been afraid to ask me. He had been afraid because(in previous relationships) he thought I would take it the wrong way and bail.
So, things between Hubby and I are better than ever since we cleared the air. And I do mean everything. 
He’s even willing to meet H when he’s in town.
It was all a storm in a teacup and proved, once again, that my husband is the best and most darling for putting up with my crazy butt.

Granuaile, I’m really glad that this event helped the communication between you and your husband. That’s the best thing out of all of this. Keep us updated.
