Love Monkey: Relationship of blonde TV chick to lead character (et al)?

The TV series *Love Monkey * got booted off network TV but immediately got picked up by VH1. (Good going, VH1. This show did not deserve to die.)

Sadly, I am only a halfhearted fan, and I seem to have forgotten (or never grasped) how the blonde chick who works at the TV station is related to the lead character (and the rest of the circle of his friends). At first I thought they were bro & sis, but the circumstantial evidence does not seem to bear that out. Ex-BF & GF, perhaps? Please help.

Anyway to answer your question, when the show was on network TV they never established their relationship, but I took it as a friends who never dated.

No, I’m pretty sure you’re mistaken. There was some special glue between the two that was revealed in the very first show.
