Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Cecil Adam’s website is about the last place you’d expect to find people who cast spells and talk seriously about ‘magick’?

And in other news…WHY is it so hard for people to grasp that a person or persons would actually talk about Magick here?

I don’t expect to find *believers in Magick here. The Straight Dope has always been about rationality, rejecting things without logical basis or evidence, etc. So finding people here that believe in ‘magick’, new age crystals, etc. is somewhat akin to walking into a Flat-Earth society meeting and finding Stephen Hawking there.
Well, you know the Earth is flat. If it weren’t, we’d all fall off.
