While channel surfing yesterday, I caught a “Top 20 Rock Countdown” on a music channel and they were playing a video by the band Slipknot. The only thing I knew about Slipknot was that they were the “main” gig of lead singer Corey Taylor, whose “other” (side?) band is Stone Sour.
I came to know Stone Sour first, and I really like their stuff. But Slipknot? Eegads! What kind of garbage is that? And the masks? I almost can’t believe that some of the same people are involved in both of these bands.
Which led me to think, what musicians have side projects that you love, even though you hate their “main” or more famous band?
