Low cost musical advertising - beat this!

Surely the cheapest clip ever made. Genius artist mimes to single with twin follow spots. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MczZzJ-jy5c

Anyone know of any other simple but great music videos?

Patrick Hernandez - Born to be alive

Portishead - All mine probably more expensive than it looks, though.

I always thought that Tone Loc parodying Robert Palmer in Wild Thing was pretty effective for a three figure budget.

Thanks for this link. Besides getting to hear the great Dusty Springfield, there was a sidebar link to something I didn’t know existed, a pre-Eurythmics Dave Stewart/Annie Lennox band The Tourists, singing that song. Well, I knew about The Tourists, I had a couple of their records, but it’s never before occurred to me to go looking to see if they had any videos. Now I know there are all kinds of videos/live performances there! God I love YouTube.

A bit busier than the Dusty clip, but this one (“Don’t Give Up” by Peter Gabriel, with Kate Bush) is pretty simple. I like the alternate version too even though it’s not so original, but it tells the story of the song.

I love that Portishead, but then, I love all Portishead.
