Jokes aside, I want to read a book discussing the development of the intersectionality theory. If anyone’s got a good suggestion, please do so.
And please do NOT ditch the question, you all want me to read more and spend less time on the internet. I will do so. That’s a start, because it seems that it is a more recently-developed discussion. Give me any book, so as long as the the discussion of the dynamic its its sole topic.
Thanks
And please don’t come at me badly into this post, actually recommend something if you’re gonna reply.
I am looking for a book that discusses every theme out there, my biggest one [black masculinity], I want to see the discussion of religious privilege for that matter, the rise of lgbtq+, just basically something trying to mention every social issue category out there.
Please I am being totally serious, maybe I could learn something from whatever book I get recommended. I could understand social issues from a better aim.
But it actually has to discuss the dynamic of intersectionality itself, not just whatever general social issues book.
Ain’t nobody gonna do that. Go Google it. You have a powerful tool you are typing on right now. That crap is allover the web. Find some info and read it. Or go to Amazon and order a book. Jeez what are we? Your parents. You need to brush your teeth and go to bed anyway.
Ok, that’s fine. But I could get 100+ results and Idk how well to sort them out.
Hell, a lot of the results I got are not what I was expecting. Most go way too much feminism rather than interseftionliaty in general.
Feminism is a huge part of intersectionality. Either way, try reading them anyways, even if they’re not “what you expected”. You might learn something.
I understand that, however this applies more today. Especially since we got a term coined like “intersectional feminism”.
But thanks still for cheering me up, some that I did see seem to discuss intersectionality in a very general and broad sense though. So I will read whatever can appeal to me first, then 2nd, then 3rd, etc etc etc.
Yep, will try to keep myself on topic as much as possible. Will take some notes about the concept/dynamic
Still feel free to hang out any recommendations if you want.
Maybe I will take a question and will even write a note on it, that way I am can get an early start.
:How did the dynamic of intersectionality develop over time? Like I think I know it was coined somewhere in the 70s, but what made it more prevalent, prominent and relevant over time? Is just a response to the rise of identity politics?
Luc, you are getting on my last nerve. What’s with the unintelligible questions? Ain’t nobody got any time to answer that stuff. Look. It. Up., use that laptop sitting on your lap.
Jeez louise,
I can’t take no more.
