I’m quasi-unemployed. I start a new job in about a week and a half. From now until then, I intend to accomplish absolutely nothing.
If I do get something useful done, I will compensate by taking a bubble bath, followed by a nap.
I will then have a glass of wine, eat some choclate, smoke a cigar, all of this while reading a good book. The book will most likely be nonfiction, but will contain information that is of no practical value.
Hmmm. I think I can manage the book (Kary Mullis’ “Dancing in the Mind Field” right now.) We don’t have any wine, but maybe I can rustle up a gin and tonic after the kids are in bed.
However, my bubble bath will probably include a rubber duck, several plastic squirty fish, and my 3-year-old daughter. We’ll skip the cigars.
