Lynn Bodoni has passed away

So sad to hear about this. I remember her from the AOL days. :frowning:

I’m truly sorry to hear that. My condolences to all whom she touched in some way.

My god. You must be kidding me. I’m so sorry. She was always kind to me, and she liked my cat’s name (Porkchop). I’ll miss you, Lynn.

This is truly a shock. Yes, Lynn goes back to the old AOL board. She was a wonderful lady.

So very sad to hear of her passing, and so very sad to be so late to the thread.

Rest in peace, Lynn. Or tear up the afterlife with Opal. Either option is good.

Oh man, this is sad news. Very sorry to hear this - Requiescat in pace, Lynn.

Now that’d be a YouTube vid worth watching!

I know this sounds trivial, but it’s not really: she was an excellent admin here. That’s not trivial because it’s really hard to be good at the admin side and still be personable.

My sympathies to everyone who knew her personally.

It hit me so hard that I couldn’t think of anything to say, so I just kept quiet. But now I realize I could at least say that. I hope her family is healing.

And maybe this is a bit morbid, but she had said that she didn’t want to become old and senile (due to Alzheimer’s in her family). So she got her wish.

We can say this, too: the fundraiser fluiddruid started has done really well, with about $2,100 raised. That’s a very nice tribute.

I can’t believe I didn’t see this announcement until today. In many ways, Lynn was the personification of the Dope. We are all diminished by her loss.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all those who loved her.

I wish to pay my respects to her friends and family.

Dang.
:frowning:

Dear me! I just stumbled across this sad news. Condolences to her loved ones and eternal rest to her.

I didn’t see this until today. I wish to add my voice to the condolences.

When I had a problem about a year ago Lynn helped me out. I asked her how I could repay her and she had said to just help someone else who needed it. I will try to keep that generous spirit alive in her honour.

Me too. My condolences.

I know I’m way late with this, but … damn. Many years ago, I pointed Lynn toward Improbable Island, a game I was enjoying at the time, and the last time I talked to her she was still participating in that community, long after I had left.

I’ve been off the boards for several months and am just now reading this. I’d like to add my voice to the choir of Dopers (albeit late) who are mourning the passing of one of our own. May you RIP, Lynn. You are missed. :frowning:

I made a donation to the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary in the USA. Cheers Lyn.
