I wish I could have gotten to know her better. As a relative late-comer to the SDMB community, I wish her friends and family well and will remember her for her positive contributions.
Damn.
Damn, damn, damn.
We lived in the same town. Even though I never met Lynn in real life; whenever I read her posts, it always made me (possibly undeservedly) happy to be in the same town with someone as nice and as smart as that.
I don’t know if I’ll cry for any of you other bastards I’ve met over the internet, but I’m crying right now.
Bye, Lynn.
I’m shocked. I remember Lynn from way back in the AOL days.
I wish her peace and hope she is enjoying a new game while laughing at all of us left here.
RIP Lynn
So sad to get this news. So long Lynn.
That’s dreadful news.
Lynn has been a mainstay of this place since well before I finally joined.
My condolences to her family.
Extremely sad news. I think I was around when she first became an administrator. Ugh. We’re all getting old…

I met Lynn a few times. She was a lovely lady, and so very interesting! When I met her was at the beginning of her serious health problems, she wasn’t exactly well, but she wasn’t so ill that she couldn’t interact in a meaningful way for an afternoon. She was delightful, witty and brilliant.
We stayed in regular touch until her health made it difficult to keep up our correspondance. I considered her a good friend, and I am so very sorry to hear of her death. I miss her.
My heart goes out to her family, and to those here who loved her.
Sad to hear of Lynn’s passing…
Thoughts and prayers to her and her family.
We talked about food. She was kind to me. I’m so sad that she’s gone.
We are so much lessened by our loss. Condolences to her family and us all.
I’m so sorry to hear this.
Sorry to hear this. One of the first names I learned on the board. RIP.
That’s so sad, I hope her friends and family are well.
This is a shock. I’m so sorry to hear this.
Shoot, while I knew she was ill, this is still quite a shock. Lynn and the Dope have always been closely intertwined as long as I have visited these boards beginning with AOL. We have lost one of our greatest.
My condolences to her family and friends.
Terrible news. My condolences to her family and friends.
I’ve been on these boards for, well, a long time, you can see my join date. In all that time I can’t recall ever having an interaction with Lynn, either replying to one of her posts or vice versa. And certainly never exchanged PMs. This, in retrospect, is unfortunate. But I can say that I when I saw her name on a post, I always looked forward to reading it. There’s not a lot of other members who I can say the same about.
I’m shocked and saddened to hear this.
I had noted a lessening in the number of her posts but I was not aware of the reason why.
Goodbye Lynn Bodoni. I will miss you here.
I’m so sorry. I always enjoyed Lynn’s postings and her pride in her name font. I am very sad.
