Oh, no. I am so sorry.
I’ll just say that I am glad her suffering is over and that the SDMB is a lesser place without her.
Oh dear. 
Her name was one I always recognized when it came up, and as has been mentioned, she’s one of the few names that came to mind when I think of the SDMB.
Oh how very, very sad. My condolences to her family.

How sad, she was a central figure on the Straight Dope for so long. It’s going to feel different without her.
It is sad to hear, and also heartwarming to see the outpouring of concern.
Like others, Lynn was one of the first people I remember recognizing way back when I registered and she was always kind to me when I needed it.
We’ve been here a long time, and the fact that Lynn’s passing can bring out such a reaction is a great testament to herself and her work on making the SDMB a real community whose members care about what happens to each others. That’s another wonderful result of her life and her work here.
I’ll miss her.
Things won’t be the same around here without her. A sad loss for her family, friends and the SDMB.
