Lynn Bodoni has passed away

So how come your user number is 20 later than Lynn’s, yet you joined 2 weeks before her? Did she jump in line?

My condolences to her family and friends.

RIP, Lynn

Oh no!

RIP.

Awful news. She was woven into the fabric of this place.

I’ve had quite a few conversations over the years with Lynn. Had plans to stop in at the used book store she worked so hard to get off the ground ( I believe it never came to pass, sadly ). We spoke at length about that project, love of books, etc.

How painful to log in and find this.

Back near the origin of the board, the normal laws of space-time did not apply.

:frowning:

So sorry to hear this very sad news.

Lynn had a love of fine dining with sophisticated and unflinching epicurean standards. I remember her sharing her and her husbands many diverse dining adventures in Cafe Society.

RIP Lynn; and may your table always be ready.

I’m just shocked. How sad! She and SDMB will forever be connected in my mind.

RIP, Lynn Bodoni. You will be missed.

This is such sad news. I haven’t been a regular here in a long time, but she is certainly someone I remember very fondly. Godspeed, Lynn. :frowning:

But, she also made chicken fried steak and other comfort foods at home.

Sad news.

Such terrible news. Like so many here, I had the pleasure of a few email back-and-forths with Lynn, and always found her wonderfully kind and wise. She has definitely touched a lot of lives.

My thoughts go out to her friends and family. Lynn was such a stalwart force on the Boards; I always enjoyed her humor and insight.

I am saddened to hear this. My condolences to her family and friends.

Oh my, such sad news. Add my condolences to the list.

Lynn was a big part of making and keeping this board the special place it is. I’ll miss her and always remember her with fondness and respect. Her family and friends have my sincere condolences.

I am shocked and saddened to read this. I think of you as a kind soul and fellow cat-lover. I hope you Rest In Peace, Lynn Bodoni.

I just saw this and also wish to say she will be missed and not forgotten.

:frowning:

Hard to think of anyone more dedicated to these boards. RIP Lynn.
