MAD Dopefest/Shakespeare's return?

As some of you MADs know, I recently returned from a four-month trip overseas in a much warmer climate, with lots of sand.

It’s great to be back, and I was wondering if any MADs would be interested in getting together.

One option would be to meet at my place in Glen Burnie. It’s a small single-family home. Parking is fairly tight. I have two 20±pound cats, one of whom will run and hide under a bed the whole time, the other will meet and greet everyone.

Another possibility is a great Thai restaurant in Glen Burnie. I’m biased because my friends run the place (and I play music there) but it was voted best Thai food in Baltimore by the City Paper a couple years ago. I’ll post the website for menu and directions if people want this option.

Just wanted to see if there’s sufficient interest.

I’d be up for something. I have no real preference between the two options.

I’d be delighted, but it would depend on when. I’m having some major surgery later this month, and it’ll be a while before I’m up to traveling. Let alone partying.

Would you, by chance, be interested in attending Gettysdope? It’s set for July 15th. The family and I are planning to be there. (Not that I’m trying to discourage you from planning something else).

Oh, and I grew up in Glen Burnie, so I know my way around there pretty well. If the timing works, I could make the location work.
