Just got home from the party. What a thrill to meet so many Dopers from around here and match faces to your names! Thanks once again for getting us together, Opal! We’re a richer community for having had you among us. Lucky 'Lanta to be getting you. It was a swell Dope party, I think everybody there will agree.

Ginger, I was going to, but I left it for you. We were trying to choose a Doper name for your baby; someone suggested Weird Baby of the North… but when I type that out, I think he isn’t a weird baby, he’s just so doggone cuuuute.
Ah-New Years Day, spent with my beloved Dope buddies. No better way to start a year. 
We got back home safely, in case anyone was worried. We had a great time seeing everyone and giving Opal a proper send-off. I’ll have to figure out where to post my pictures!
Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had a great turnout, I think we had at least 25 people. It was great to see everyone again.
We had two big tables and two little tables filled. I would say your estimate of 25 Dopers is about right. (Counting the kids too.)
