In the Ren Faire thread, Triskadecamus mentioned that his six weeks of vacation were falling right in between two Dopefests - the Bluesclan farewell and the Ren Faire get-together. (I know there’s a Dave & Buster’s MADfest planned for in between, but Tris isn’t the D&B type.)

Meanwhile, I have a free weekend coming up while the wife visits her folks. Between the two of these factors, I thought we could do something about this.

So after some emails back and forth, Tris and I decided that we’re getting together for brunch on Sunday, September 7 at 11am, at the Shoney’s on Route 1 south of Alexandria (6630 Richmond Highway is the street address) and all and sundry are welcome to join us there. Further aimless wanderings-around afterward are an option, too.

So, who’s interested? Line up, sign up, and re-enlist today, for we need more schooling, for more students, for Morse Science High!

I’m offline until tomorrow evening, starting as soon as I post this, btw.

I hope Ginger and her assistant boss are able to come too.

In fact I hope a whole lot of folks decide to come.

Shoney’s is relatively cheap, kid friendly, and hopefully quiet enought that we will be the noisiest bunch of folks there!

My on line-ness is spotty just now, but I will try to make it once a day anyway, to keep track.

Count me in, 'cause I’m a freak for lead balloons! Robert Plant was a gift to an entire generation of teenage girls. I learned more about the male anatomy from him than I ever imagined at that age. He is a god and…what? Huh? Oh, nevermind.

But I’m still in for Sunday Brunch. RT, would you please bring my bowl, it’ll be easier to bring it Sunday than after work to Zettefest. Damn, I was really looking forward to checking out Robert Plant’s package again. I’ll bet it’s still fabulous even after all these years.
