**Day will end today at noon. Sorry I haven’t posted a vote count; it’s been a hectic few days at work, and given the runaway it seemed superfluous. I will post one this morning just for record-keeping purposes.
Don’t forget to get your Day Two actions in before the deadline!**
apologies all… technical difficulties. Specifically, my computer stopped working. I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to post Dawn when I can use my work computer to do it. Many, many apologies.
Congratulations, YOU GOT ME! I hope you’ll understand if I skip the lynching portion of today’s lynch; the world, I have found, is much more interesting with me in it. But I understand where I’m not wanted – I’ll just stand aside and watch for a bit.
Chronos, who was James Moriarity, a Scum Godfather, has been lynched.
As far as I can tell, there is considerable irritation directed at me regarding the fate of the unfortunate Mrs. Watson. So I’m happy to say I have a parting gift to offer to all of you FINE people: I have conspired to reunite her with her beloved. You see? I am a man of generous spirit and fundamental decency.
Captain Klutz, who was Dr. John Watson, a Town Mason/Doctor, has been killed.
This is FUN. Let’s do it some more.
Contiguously,
M*
Day Three begins here, and will end (on time) at noon Eastern on Wednesday, March 5. Happy lynching!
But a dead scum godfather, which is a hell of a start.
The thing that bugs me is that Chronos was kind of out there - we’ve known he was scummy for a while, yet there doesn’t seem to have been much in the way of attempts to get an alternate lynch started. Why would the godfather not be better defended?
When it comes down to it, the godfather is still just another scum. Raising an alternate lynch may not immediately put you in the hot seat but vote record analysis will eventually make things uncomfortable for any scum defenders. Far better, once any scum has been fingered to come down fast and hard and look really townie than to risk losing two scum members rather than one.
And a Mason/Doctor claiming? A mason being NK’d is bad enough but being a doc as well, good grief.
It could be that Chronos thought he might be investigated and come up Town so that would have taken the heat off him, risky but maybe they thought it was worth it. It does mean that we still have no idea if** LightFoot** is scum or Town cos Chronos could have named any team. I am quite glad we have got rid of a godfather but like IS says, according to the write up it could mean there is more than one godfather. I have never played in a game with more than one but there is a first time for everything.
I begin to have some appreciation for mutli-voting. TexCat warrants a lot of investigation here. One thing to note carefully, though, is that Chronos’ votes for Astral and pizza came long before any votes were made on TexCat. Only his Pleo vote came after TexCat was in danger, and that was the first vote on the bandwagon.
BTW I am very sorry for flaking out yesterDay. I don’t think that I even got a vote down. I have no excuse; I just got behind and didn’t have the energy to catch up.
My guess it was a pretty hopeless situation: he was seen at the murder scene, after all. I guess this would be the right moment to disclose my “clue”:
I only disclose it now to give information to Town (I wasn’t sure if maybe we’d be able to get a missed kill if the Godfather attempted a kill without knowing this). However, it seems to have been a false clue.
I hope that we have another doctor. Not sure why Capt. Klutz claimed even as a Mason, if he was a doctor, but whatchagonnado? I will have to proceed under the assumption that I am dead tonight, though.
Our first more or less verifiably false clue! Interesting.
