No problem there. Unless you really are just all thumbs it’s hard to take a bunch of meat, seasoned however, and then grilled over an open flame of some sort and not come up with something edible.
In Texas there are three things you never do. Mess with another person’s SO, steal their horse or screw with someone else’s BBQ pit or tecnique. Actually, the last one is probably the most unforgivable. Matter of fact, even a hint of a suggestion from the peanut gallery is typically frowned upon.

I just gotta bring this up one more time since I initiated it. I gotta believe that there are some investigative results yet to be revealed but …
Nanook has fallen off the face of the earth. He gritched about the lack of votes while never voting personally. He claims a strong pro-town power role that has an investigative component. It’s Daytime and still nada. I know it’s early but … GD, if I was town, claimed and still alive I would have been in here at the first possible moment with my result to help the town.
It’s not like any reveal would be other than helpful to our town side. Either he is what he says he is or not.
And if he is just hanging low for a story pede gunfight then that is not pro-town. Cough it up, dude, or remain silent and cause some serious re-evaluation.
And I’ll probably swing for this BTFW. Nanook would be my first choice if not for his claim and investigative clan/coven investigative capability.
I had my case for NBC as others did but that one is dead in the water so to speak.
My second choice was a Z poster but on re-read I think it’s more a matter of game play style rather than alignment.
Therefore, I am going after the non-voters. Randomly selected just to poke the ant mound a bit.

It is, of course, as Diomedes has suggested. I am a Magician (please note: my role PM uses the construction “a Magician” not “the Magician,” for what that’s worth).
pedescribe tried to kill me last Night.
I redirected kills aimed at me toward NaturalBlondChap, as I found him most likely to be scum based not so much on his weird last minute vote but on his subsequent evasive, contradictory, and needlessly cryptic non-explanations of that vote.
Thus, NBC was not killed by the Vig, but rather, by pedescribe, via me. Actually, it is entirely possible that a hypothetical Vig targeted NBC as well, and the killing was doubled up, but frankly at this stage almost anything is possible.
The only thing that’s not possible is that pedescribe has something other than a killing role. He is either a Wolf, a Vampire, or a pro-Town Vig (or a killin’ Cabalist, I guess).
He will now have only two options: (1) claim Vig; or (2) attempt to claim that I am lying. I had hoped to induce him to choose one of those options before making my full claim, the better to make him slip if he is scum, but he hasn’t responded yet and on reflection, it’s true; it’s not difficult to guess at what I was going to say anyway.
It’s funny - this situation makes the advantages associated with CatinaSuit’s (and why the heck is CIAS still alive? That is surely questionable, eh what? But more on that in another post) mass claim plan a bit clearer and more specific. Had there been a mass claim yesterDay, pedescribe would have been locked into a choice. My reveal toDay might have caught scum with more certainty, if he is indeed scum.
That said, I am more likely than not to vote for pedescribe in the near future. Let’s see what he has to say first, though.
I’m a simple man. We find a scum, we kill him. And if pede tries to claim Vig, then he’s got a huge burden to explain why he would try to kill story on Night One.

Dude. Come on! Give us a little bit of explanation why you would want to kill story, Night One. Point out all the little things he did Day one which would lead you to believe he was scum, and make you certain enough to risk your life to kill him.
By the way, I should add that if pede comes up Wolf, this shouldn’t clear story as confirmed Town. I wouldn’t put it past him to convince the Wolves to try this stunt early in the game, to give story ‘proven town’ status. I’m not trying to smudge story here… only raise awareness of the deviousness of a plot to sac one wolf for the benefit of all. If pede comes up Vamp, however, I’m willing to buy story as a Magician.
You know, you must be the first person to get a response from **Pleonast ** on the result of a Kill attempt without having to wait like the rest of us for the Day opening thread.

Am I missing something here? The rules state that whoever tries to kill a Magician will find out the Magician’s role.
I think that’s assuming a little too much. By the rules (bolding mine):
Ack, beaten to the punch. In any event, while I do find it somewhat suspicious that pedascribe feels role claiming justifies outing two roles at once, I don’t think it justifies my vote yet.
sigh alright, and now I learn why it’s stupid to post without reading the entire new page. Forgive the early assumption. :smack:
In any event, my two cents for what they’re worth: Pedescribe gets 0% credit for roleclaiming a scenario that several other people have already analyzed. What I perceived as eagerness or negligence in outing the Magician, both of which’re obviously suspicious, were just faithfulness to the original story.
On the matter of that story, I don’t think Storyteller is scum: I get a Town vibe from him, although I wouldn’t have personally come out so instantly and aggressively if a redirected kill gave me insight into someone’s role. Knowing that someone has a killing role is extremely powerful intelligence, and I think I might’ve waited and watched to see if I could catch anyone covertly supporting Pedescribe. With that in mind, could I ask Storyteller why you chose to reveal what you knew so soon?
Anyway, for my part I can’t see Storyteller and Pedescribe cooperating, so I think we’re certainly looking at two factions. Pedescribe’s story stinks a bit more at the moment, and so while I wait for Storyteller’s explaination,

I’m all caught up and Now I’m ready to play guys!
(though it was scary noting how many of you guys kept mentioning me with ominous tones… I’m not THAT bad! Plus real life is slowly catching up and I’ll be a “normal” poster most likely just like you guys in the as august comes around…

But it’s not really anything scummy or such even to merit a FOS, just maybe an eyeball of suspicion… Why are YOU wanting to be so silent when you’re not really involved in the Story/Peds matter? There are OTHER issues to discuss, and I don’t like the idea of just shutting up and dealing with only one thing at a time, that just will cause problems in the long scheme of things.
That being said, things I’d def like to hear about from our Witch.
If one’s been outed, it’s best to have the information up front and ASAP, just in case there are any freaky killing abilities (Day Killers anyone?) or such things. So it’s best to get all the Investigative Reports straight from the horses mouth.
NanookOg should speak up- especially if it helps to confirm him as well.
And it would be nice I suppose if anything else valuable is shared but I see that **CiaS **is apt to wait till the end of the Day, that’s fine with me.
Story vs. Peds:
My first instinct was I didn’t by the Peds Explaination, as the whole being told who you were redirected to and who you killed thing was kinda odd…
but lemme think about something.
Why would a “pro town” vig pick a target at “random”? Seems like there should be some underlying reason for the target.
