Really? I would think that’s the optimal time.
Woohoo, I am confirmed!
Pass me a drink please barkeep, something with Whiskey in it. Rotgut out of a mason jar is prefered.
I see you’re not interested in the drinky-antics. It’s Day One soon… we’ve seen this set-up before. Town wins through information… but a full reveal would skunk us, because the scum, together, outpower us. So we play cautiously the first Day, play the odds that we’ll land scum, and hope for some crossfire Night One. Right?
Where is the official schedule posted? Did we decide how we are going to work around the 4th?
I’ve put the schedule in the player/voter page:
All Dawns and Dusks at noon Pacific Time.
Night Zero: Thu Jun 12 - Tue Jun 17
Day One: Tue Jun 17 - Wed Jun 25
Night One: Wed Jun 25 - Mon Jun 30
Day Two: Mon Jun 30 - Wed Jul 9
Night Two: Wed Jul 9 - Fri Jul 11
Day Three: Fri Jul 11 - Wed Jul 16
Night Three: Wed Jul 16 - Fri Jul 18
Day Four: Fri Jul 18 - Wed Jul 23
Night Four: Wed Jul 23 - Fri Jul 25
etc…
Are we allowed to strategize on Night Zero?
Yes, and every Night. Night Zero is special because no powers may be used. Voting is only during the Day.
PM confirmed. And I just want to say…
I’m Number One! I’m Number One!
Which is better than Number 2…
Well in that case…we shouldn’t be gunning for the cabal too early. Last game, I know, they all died early, but we can’t count on htat this time. But even if they survive, the single roleblock is puny enough that it doesn’t really count for much, and as long as we can keep multiple witches alive, we can wait on them. We definitly should try to kill the vampires first (and since pleonast was talking about extra blood I suspect that there are multiple vampires) because the extra kill is particularly problematic and we can’t count on the werewolves to kill them for us. The necromancer can wait for a few days (if we find him early) but I think by day four he should definitley be a primary target. Obviously our default target should be the wolves. Not sure how many to expect…but they’ve definitley got the most people (why? because the cabal is almost certianly three in number and each individual undead is more powerful than each individual wolf) so they will probably be around the longest. Remember, the detective is only good against the wolves, so … yeah. More may be forthcoming.
Note–that was partially cribbed from storyteller in the off board game.
I just realized that we have almost two weeks to decide who to lynch first. Lynch the lurker might be the best option in that case. I mean seriously if you can’t find time in two weeks you have to be actively trying.
Damn, I forgot to order a drink I’m going to go with one of the passion coladas that I was reading about of in the drink recommendation thread.
Got my role PM, confirming now. This is going to be quite the long wait.
I’ll take a glass of milk. Thanks.
Confirming and all that jazz!
RoOsh! Order up!
Finally! Good thing I cut-and-pasted my post before the boards cut out.
Confirmed.
Yes, good plan, we’ll do it in this order. Now if we can only find out who’s what, we’ll be in good shape!
Hey, just noticed that you are in this game Cookies. What up? How you been?
Heh, yeah, that’s the difficult part.
Good, busy, crazy…
I’m trying a new approach to time-management this time around (like actually trying to do time-management). It has to be possible, since some of you somehow juggle jobs/school/life/spouses/children/chainsaws and multiple games simultaneously.
How have y’all been?
I have not kept up with a single Mafia-related thing since the post-game Batman celebrations.
Hey Cookies, great to see you back.
I kinda feel like we’re in a bar and we all got here at the same time and we keep looking up and realizing people we recognize. This game is flippin’ huge, I have a feeling we (I) am going to be doing a lot of that this game.
Well if they would all just fess it would work swimmingly.
