Diggit because she called me annoying (yup, that’s an OMGUS, tough shit) and also because she tried to get the other Masons to reveal themselves and never gave a satisfactory answer to why she disagreed with the very solid reasoning why revealing Masons early in a game is bad for Town. Before anyone asks, why aren’t the real Masons outing her? Because then they’d be outing themselves. Why aren’t they voting for her? Perhaps because going too hard for her would prove they’re Masons. People have completely forgot about all her spurring on of the other Masons to step into the line of fire.

You know what, I’m sorry I chose wrongly yesterday…You really want to potentially lynch a claimed mason because they called you annoying, and because they wanted to out the Masons? They claimed Mason…Unless another Mason comes forward and says counterclaims it, or someone gives a damn good reason for us to think that Diggit is lying here, then I think your vote here is way out of line, and Anti-town.

As a Town player, I don’t want to purposefully vote any other Townies. I theoretically only want to get 3rd parties and scum.

The act of voting ones self has no real precedent as a scum play. Which is different than saying: Voting self = town.

The case on Stan and the Barn message, seems like either Town Cop got lucky night 1, or Scum trying to steal a lynch for free. One additional upside if Stan does flip scum is that any future messages naming someone as scum will have to be balanced against the likelihood of two town players being able to generate that information.

The message plus the potential editing of his pm locks him in today.

As I’ve posted before- the barn message is a perfect storm for Scum- not much comment on my thoughts in that department- so
I must say no reference to “ You are ( anything) “ in ** Stan’s ** PM is too odd to ignore— did he address that?
Can we believe that any player walking into this dance would not be told what wall they were leaning against?
Just went through a pile about how I generally avoid wagons when the outcome is as good as decided without my vote. And ** Pizza ** does have some merit with his " leave a manageable margin” ideas
I did advocate another line of thinking ( that labeled ** Stan ** as a liability just because of the message)
I really can’t see how ** Stan ** can talk himself out of this one- I support the lynch- as much as for the reasons I stated earlier as the lack of * one key phrase * in his PM.
What I do find curious is the number of votes that were tossed * before * the flawed claim.
His flip should be informative

My take on Stanislaus:

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and not put too much trust in the barn message, given that it was unsigned.

I was also originally willing to give him the benefit of the doubt over his claimed PM. I’ve been in the position of having to defend a totally-legitimate-yet-wonky PM, and let’s not forget that **Story **was rushing to get PM’s out at the start of the game. Maybe **Story **did somehow leave off his alignment or format it differently.

But, thinking about it more, if **Stan **received the PM as posted, how would he even know his own alignment? Maybe if the role name was colored blue that would be enough for him to assume he was Town. But if I’d gotten that PM with no alignment clearly specified, I’d probably clarify it with the mod just in case, or it would at least occur to me that, hmmm, it doesn’t actually say I’m Town; if I ever have to claim, it might look strange. Therefore, I do think that the PM has been edited and **Stan **isn’t being honest.

I also think that Astral has crossed the line from “presenting an argument for why Stan might be Town” to “trying to save a teammate.”

As I mentioned earlier, I do think that **Stan’s **power (tracking what happened the previous Night instead of the current Night) is designed to help figure out who the SK is, and if he is a Wolf, I hope that Town has a similar role because we have to stop the SK, no matter what, before we find all of the Wolves.

Since we will soon know **Stan’s ** alignment, I am putting on hold my previous suspicion/votes of **Babale **and Guiri, given that **Babale **was an early target of **Stan’s **and **Guiri **was instrumental in catching the inconsistencies in **Stan’s **PM. **Stan’s **flip will shed more light on those.
