I honestly don’t go for the inconclusive, often wrong infighting. I’m still waiting for someone to come up with a logical (well explained) argument as to who the scum is/are and why. Capricious and arbitrary… Cosmo Kramer, it was a Seinfeld reference that seemed to have slipped past you the way you jumped on me for saying it.
I haven’t voted or added anything because I have no powers, and I have no valid information other than my assigned role. I didn’t jump on the Stan bandwagon, and frankly I’m surprised that he turned out to really be scum with our Town to Scum death ratio.

If we are clearing out the lurkers, then so be it. BTW I’m here, I’m not invisible.
Just out of curiosity, were you aware Diggit has claimed mason, and there has been no counter-claim?
Bandwagon? The Barn freaking said he was scum. What town-scum ratio were you hoping for in a mafia game? Lots of scum?
I accused you of trying to get the investigator to claim and voted you to emphasize my point that the investigator should not claim. You denied trying to get the investigator to claim and that eased my mind, but I did not unvote.
I’ve actually been thinking that what scum would be more likely to do yesterDay would be to waffle around, hoping that Stanislaus could escape the noose. And if his claim had been a little better that’s exactly what might have happened.
Suburban argued all day that the message was fake, and then finally voted for Stan.
Vote: Suburban Plankton
And, of course, that would be the obligatory third lurker I hadn’t voted for.

How am I supposed to have thoughts on people who have hardly played at all?
To be honest, I’m loathe to edit my role PM at all.
And I want to reveal my complete role PM even less, at least for now. There’s information in it which would help my fellow mason identify him/herself after all…
Well we are on lynch the lurker heh. That’s a winning strategy for sure. I just don’t post a lot, mea culpa. I’ve at least voted multiple times (I think every Day?). If you want to make a case, my opinions have been plain. Plus, diggit i might not be posting, but at least i’m not voting for dead people. Quality over quantity, and all that.
Next up. Why is othro voting for a claimed mason, with no counter claim, and the existence of masons firmly established? Plus the comment “Town is losing, we have to do better.” This reeks of false commiseration. Also why didn’t you say “We are losing”.

With choie coming up in blue, mahaloth’s switch to her after the Diggit claim looks even worse. Especially with the too fatalistic to be town argument. Hey and some bandwagon votes today.
vote Mahaloth
For the malarkey about masons confirming each other not providing any knowledge. Of course they do: they confirm each other, we then know as opposed to suspect them of being town. And they should take that into account when deciding whether or not to claim.
Astral Rejection: Defending scum doesn’t make one scummy. It’s a null tell: Either you genuinely believed that the barn message was incorrect or you were scum and were trying to get him off the hook. Based on your defense, I’m leaning former. I tend to think that insinuating that it might be incorrect would be more damning than flat out denying it. But why does you being wrong make texcat more scummy?
Are you implying your teammate doesn’t know he/she is a mason with you? Why does your remaining fellow mason need help identifying himself?
At the time I made that vote, I believed that TexCat had implied I was scum defending scum. With Stanislaus flipping scum, that should add credence to that belief. That being said…
TexCat, I owe you an apology and an unvote.
Unvote TexCat.
It was wombat99 that voted for me because of my defense of Stan, not you. I goofed that up pretty good.
So, now I’m going to go see if wombat99 also has avoided mentioning me, and then vote accordingly.
You do understand that the point of the game is to make cases and vote for other players right? I can understand if you don’t agree with the cases being made, but the answer to that is not to sit idly by, but to stand up and make a case, convince others you are right. If you are content to sit back, not post and not vote then how can we evaluate your own alignment except by lynching you? (The same goes for all lurkers of course, but **ortho **is the only one who has actually responded to the charge.)
Also, the Town to Scum death ratio is pretty much par for the course. There should be MANY more Town players than Scum players for the game to be balanced. To have caught one Scum and only lost two Power roles by Day 4 is actually pretty awesome!
Check done. No wombat99 posts. I guess this will prove less fruitful than I thought.
My unofficial vote count:
**orthohedron **(4): Diggit(1271), USCDiver (1299), Dizzymrslizzy (1300), Red Skeezix (1329)
**Babale **(4): Johnny Bravo (1274), Mahaloth (1321), orthohedron (1322), Diggit (1326)
Red Skeezix (3): Diggit (1311), Mahaloth (1321), orthohedron (1322)
**USCDiver **(3): TexCat (1276), Dizzymrslizzy (1300), orthohedron (1322)
**gnarlycharlie **(1): Johnny Bravo (1274)
**Meeko **(1): Mahaloth (1289)
**wombat99 **(1): Diggit (1308)
**Diggit **(1): orthohedron (1322)

**Mahaloth **(1): Red Skeezix (1329)
**TexCat **(0): [del]Astral (1310, 1331)[/del]
And I’d just like to point out that when **orthohedron **finally deigned to make a post with votes, he managed to make a 4-way tie (with himself) for the lead. Unbelievable.
Man, forget that.
Vote orthohedron.
“Consider that tie… terminated.”
No, wait! "I guess that vote count couldn’t be… tied down.
I’m no good at 80s action movie puns.
I’d also be okay with a Babale lynch, by the way. Shoulda mentioned that in the previous post. But ortho gets my vote for just about all of his Day’s postings so far.
I think you have a solid vote on Suburban, but I wanted to single out this bit. Town, in our wonderful haze of paranoia, mistrust, and more paranoia, often forget how clear things are for scum.
A scum once remarked (and it was Stanislaus himself, in fact, on the spoiler boards for De’endee mafia) that scum are often amazed at how town talk themselves out of the “right” move. For them, things are clear. A message on the barn says Stan is a wolf. Stan really IS a wolf. For the scum team, he’s obviously dead. A cop left that message, since they know they didn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if one or two scummers jumped onto the Stan lynch immediately.
Which is not to say you’re wrong, TexCat. Scum don’t want to be too obvious. I think a mix of scum jumping early and hanging back is most likely. But there are some very quick (and lazy) votes for Stan early on, and that’s where I’m gonna look next.
Is that the anonymous barn that anyone can write anything on (including Scum writing anonymous lies) or is this the barn of truth you are talking about? I didn’t see what the barn of truth said, did it name Stan as Scum too? Bandwagon.
Skeezix let’s go back to English Class.
*“We are losing, we have to do better.” * In this case, who is we?
“Town is losing, we have to do better.” The second sentence is a lot clearer than the first. I identified the subject of the sentence before I introduced a subject pronoun.
ortho, I’d still like to know: are you aware that Diggit has claimed to be a mason, and so far nobody has counterclaimed him?
