Mafia - Game in progress [Edited title]

yes for some reason I paired the two
bad brain
but the parallel has been made by others as well

it could also create false positives - if the demon can visit and leave a stench on an innocent- and yes I do think that prolonged exposure can corrupt an innocent as well – we have seen a bit of— so i’m square one-ing that train of thought for me for now

MYLO- Mislynch you lose.

AKA if you mislynch me toDay, and the scum/SK kills 3 town toNight, then Scum wins, assuming Scum has to be equal in number to Town.

Johnny Bravo’s unofficial vote count (now with strikethroughs!):

I didn’t record Lightfoots re-vote or Meeko’s ‘unvote all’ and then revote because I mainly didn’t feel like dealing with it. The overall numbers should be accurate, though.

SIX VOTES

Dizzymrslizzy: Johnny Bravo (1728), Lightfoot (1731), Wombat99 (1736), Meeko (1749), GnarlyCharlie (1757), Texcat (1759)

FFS, no one is even playing in this game anymore.

I love how no one has even discussed my claim. Why freaking bother anymore. This game is the most frustrating I have played yet. I have valid reasons for doing what I did, and it’s not good enough…

i accept OMGUS as a tactic but that’s all you’re doing. you’re not even trying. either you’re busy in RL or you’re scum.

i see that now.

Unvote wombat99

it doesn’t mean i’m convinced wombat is a backup vig.

that’s part of the game. i feel ignored that times too. gotta keep going.

I am in the hospital preparing for a C-section and will certainly not be able to end the day on time.

Good luck!

I have some rl obligations, but can cover the end of Day. It might be a little late as 7pm is my teatime, but we’ll manage.

Storyteller, best wishes to you and you wife. Hope you enjoy being a Dad again.

Good luck, storyteller!

Pre-emptive Mazel-Tovs, storyteller!

wooOOOOOooooo!

Good luck!!

Good luck story!

Because you’re not really playing, and doesn’t sit well with a number of us.

I don’t get this. **wombat **had claimed to be a Backup Compulsory (for now) Vigilante. Either that’s what she is, or he’s the Serial Killer. So if you believe she’s a Vig, your unvote makes perfect sense…but if you don’t, then you should be voting for her.

I think **Dissymrslizzy **is correct about one thing, regardless of her alignment. With the current level of carnage we’re going to be at or near LyLo Tomorrow. the question is whether or not we can trust the Barn message from Cookies, known Scum.

I think we need to eliminate a killer from the game Today, or we’re in big trouble. It would be great if that killer were not Town…but I’m not sure we can afford to be too particular.

Looking at the Night kills so far:

N1
Val Salva
Pleonast

N2
Silver Jan
Ender
RyJae - claimed by wombat

N3
Guiri - claimed by the Wolves, per the Barn message
choie - claimed by wombat

N4
Astral
Mahaloth - claimed by wombat
Red Skeezix

N5
DiggitCamara - not claimed by the Wolves, per the Barn message (as it implies they targeted wombat)
Cookies - claimed by wombat

If **wombat **is a backup Vig, then:

N1, Either the Scum, the SK, or the Vig did not kill (or someone doubled up on targets)
N2, Scum, SK, and Vig all killed
N3, SK did not kill
N4, Scum, SK, and Vig all killed
N5, SK killed Diggit, Vig killed Cookies, Scum did not kill

If wombat is the SK, then:
N1, Either the Scum, the SK, or the Vig did not kill (or someone doubled up on targets)
N2, Scum and SK both killed…plus an extra unexplained death
N3, Scum and SK both killed
N4, Scum and SK both killed…plus an extra unexplained death
N5, SK killed Cookies, Scum did not kill…plus an extra unexplained death
So, if **wombat **is out backup Vig, then all the deaths can be explained by ‘known killers’, and we’ve had a few blocks, protections, or other failed kills.

If **wombat **is the Serial Killer, then we seem to have three deaths that so far have no explanation.

Our good friend Occam compels us to conclude that **wombat **is in fact a backup Vigilante, as he claims, unless someone has a good explanation for the ‘extra’ kills.

I think you are missing a bit there Suburban.

N1 you got a message that you were hit but survived. So N1 is accounted for.

N3 and 5 the SK got stopped because the SK in this case is Scum sided, and cannot kill scum despite trying two nights. N3 the SK was stopped hitting Cookies, and N5 was stopped from hitting Johnny.

This above is all just speculation of course.

:smack: I completely forgot about Night 1. That was no long ago…but Night 1 really wasn’t my concern anyway.

So your theory is that the Scum can’t kill the SK, and the SK can’t kill Scum? I don’t know if I can buy it. It’s tough enough for a Serial Killer to win in a ‘normal’ game; your theory puts an additional restriction on the role that would make it near impossible. It seems just as likely that the ‘missing’ kills on Nights 3 and 5 were due to blocks and/or protections (or the Scum targeting the SK and failing).

Have we had anyone claim a Doctor role, or *any *protective ability, so far? I must admit that I’m having a bit of trouble keeping things straight between this game and the one over on Idle…

Ha! It just got easier for me.

Let’s see if I can get all of this right…we haven’t had that many claims.
Wombat has claimed backup vig.
Lightfoot has claimed non-vanilla.
Suburban has claimed demon hunter.

RedSk is the dead cop.
Pleo is the dead vig.

Evening fols.

I’m a little later than I thought I would be getting this under way.

Dusk has officially fallen, and no votes after 7:00pm GMT will count. (That is, all posts from Dawn up to and including Suburban Plankton’s last post are counted.) There will be a slight hiatus until I can verify the dead and write some colour, assuming I get an inspiration.

In the meantime, please feel free to talk, but not vote.

Oh and I forgot Dizzy’s claim of cop.
