that whopping great half sentence flopping up there was where I was going to mention my lack of experience making me less valuable etc. But I obviously got distracted - to much going on.

too, damnit, too much going on. That was literally a typo - missing the key the second time because I was trying to type too fast.
I didn’t get any notice of this and would like to know what he was doing myself. Is this the only night he visited, or did you watch other people the other times?
Town, of course. ![]()
I very much doubt that Tanaer and Weedy were scum together, but that doesn’t preclude Weedy snuggling someone who just happened to be some other variety of bad guy than she was.
I’m hesitant to vote for people like Skeezix (especially) and to a lesser extent RT, who may have wrath-of-Phere pending anyway. In fact I think it’s a horrible idea. But I would like Pizza to clarify exactly who’s in what status in that regard. The rule seemed quite clear-cut: 3x no vote, you’re out. Is that still the case or are game-ditchers like these going to hang over us indefinitely?
I may express a little leniency if I get some communication that shows that the non-voters are still playing. It’s a bit damaging to the game to have a buncha modkills.
That said, action is coming if there’s no pulse.
It’s damaging to the game for them to have ditched, period. I hate everything about it.
That’s my point, I think Weedy was a Traitor, so I agree that Weedy and Tanaer weren’t scum together.
If Weedy was the traitor and was controlling Lord Phere, then why would she be killed by Lord Phere?
Although, now that I think about it, we don’t know if the traitor was controlling him, that was just an assumption we were making.
If she was simple scum, then why was she NK’d? If she’s not scum then was it the scum that killed her? Is she a 3rd party character and got taken out by scum? Was she scum that got taken out by another faction?
The fact that there was only 1 kill leads me to think she was the scum kill, so I’m assuming she was a separate faction for the moment.

Tanaer, congratulations on your awesome day, and special congrats on your score. My brother is an orchestrator in Hollywood, and he has a credit on a movie that is coming out soon (today, perhaps?) called “The Raven”.

Because…?
Anyway, I believe I’ve voiced my suspicion in the past about there being two double-voters out there, and the only way I can see them both being Town is if they’re specifically designed to offset a scum triple-voter (who, if I’m not mistaken, I don’t believe we’ve heard from in a while). Otherwise, I think at least one of the double voters has to be scum, and I think it’s much more likely to be Visorslash.
Scum leans: gnarlycharlie (and thanks for outing the watcher stuff, LightFoot!), Believerer, Visorslash, PetW…
Oh yeah, and I still think Suburban is super-scummy. Thanks for reminding me.
gnarlycharlie, Believerer, Visorslash, PetW, Suburban. I’ll be attacking one of these people today.
You are not being helpful.
IF YOU WANT ME DEAD, MAKE A FUCKING ARGUMENT. YOU HAVE CONSISTENTLY REFUSED TO DO SO.
Jumping jiminy on a roller coaster.
Unvote Believerer
Vote Visorslash for being anti-Town in every possible fucking way.
Right, Visor: why do you want Gadarene dead? It doesn’t have to be a long-winded explanation, just one with a cause on the one side and an effect on the other. I don’t know if you think explaining yourself is for the weak, or what, and I’ve been granting leeway in my head mostly because Normal keeps swearing that you play this way all the time… but at a certain point, it ceases to matter. If the way you play all the time is indistinguishable from Scum play, then you need to be lynched all the time.
I think I will have time this afternoon to do a big Weedy-centered read.
In the meanwhile, I would like to return again to fubbleskag. It seems he has been well forgotten, but I don’t think he should be. Based on the things ToeJam has said, I think it is very likely that fubbles is a third-party, and that he was trying to fulfill some kind of win condition related to collecting money.
In and of itself this is not problematic. Having just moderated a game where Town lost in part because of its unwillingness to work with willing independent third parties, I’m especially enthusiastic about he idea of working with them in a game like this. But: just letting him live unbothered is not anything like working with him. Eventually, the Scum are going to start sending him the money he wants and getting the information we’re not getting.
So, fubbles, I propose the following. I request that you provide us a sample, on spec, of your work. Tell us what something does. I don’t particularly care what. But do it, for free; show us that you can and will. If you do, and if you report it openly here, then I will volunteer to pay you thereafter, by cash or by deed, for identified items, provided that: (1) you always identify the item publicly; and (2) you identify only items that we discuss openly - no backroom private deals with individual players.
I missed where a third party player had confessed? Or are you equating Neutral to Third Party. Because I don’t think they are the same animal at all.
@ ** Normal ** a shared that intel a few posts later. ( did you get excited and not read on?)
** I find it equally interesting how some players have reacted to ( or at least acknowledged) my little reveal and some have ignored it. **
I see this as problematic. Would you volunteer one of your items to be identified publically? Granted I want to know what mine does, but do I want * everyone * to also know?
You know what, I have to agree with you here, I was unhappy with him on D1 and since then I have just skimmed his posts because they make my hackles rise. He hasn’t actually made a case against anybody that he has voted for. That does not help Town.
Unvote Tanaer
I am unvoting because I think my logic is a bit twisted. I know Weedy was shnuggling Tanaer but if, as I suspect, Weedy was a traitor then she might have known who the scum team were and then her shnuggling really doesn’t make sense. It had the effect of making Tanaer look bad, which isn’t a very scummy thing to do if Tanaer is scum, although in this damn game who knows?
Gnarlycharlie is seriously pinging me in this game, he loves the off board part of the game and yet he doesn’t really want to talk to me. So far it has mostly been game mechanics and apologies. Yes, I do know he is moving but the game has been going on for a while.
And when I first started writing I was going to vote for Visorslash and at the end I was going to vote Gnarley.
I am leaving Fubbles alone at the moment because I will be scarred for life by Town not trusting a 3rd Party in the last game and taking a PFK into their bosom. Yeah, I do think he’s 3rd Party.
At the moment I am not sure who to vote for, indecisive? Me?
One last thing, Lord Phere seems to be killing everyone so I can’t really see him being controlled by a single player.
Vote Visorslash
He really isn’t helping Town and if he always plays this way, good for him!
This is not a good justification for a vote. You had a better case on gnarly, and even said you were going to vote for him at the end of your post, before you changed your mind.
If gnarly has been “seriously pinging” you, and Visorslash is just unhelpful, why do you feel Visor is a better lynch?
Because I still want to have a vote down and I had a vote on Visor on D1 and I am going back to look at Gnarly. Please don’t put words in my mouth, I said I was indecisive and I flipped a coin in my mind and Visorslash came up, he has been pinging me since D1. If I had 2 votes, I would have voted for both of them.
