Plus, “inner circle” is an impossibility with only two people, isn’t it? Unless my geometry is off, surely the most you can get is an “inner line.”

I’m almost 100% I never contacted anyone via PM first, though. I’m on record many, many times as dislike the PM mechanic, and only was drawn slowly into it about halfway through the game, and regularly it was only with … let’s see, I think at most it was two different people (including you, Silver Jan). And we’ve spent much of the time talking about ebooks.

As I said, early on in the game I wasn’t responding at all, but later on I began answering simple questions people would put to me. But I’m pretty sure that (unlike others who asked things of me) I never tried to wheedle info out of anyone. It may be ridiculously traditional of me* but I’m leery of people seeking info privately, and I’ve abided by that dogma in not doing so with others. I’d rather ask people in public so answers are given “on the record,” so to speak.

If that makes me part of a cabal, so be it.

I let LightFoot down when I said I thought Visor was trustworthy, especially when he voted for who I said we were going to vote for, hmm, he knew we were going to vote for Town. Good thing that my 3rd and last PM to him was all about Australia

Why has LightFoot been cleared btw? When I spoke to her I said I could’nt lie on FB and she said “just put on your game face”. Am I being too paranoid here?

If there was fame or fortune at stake I’d definitely want to switch back to Good alignment since Town wins is obviously easier to achieve than Town wins AND I survive. (There is an alternate Neutral win objective – Most wealth – but being neither a Thief nor a popularity contest winner, it’s not a real option for me.)

Scathach, how exactly is killing you not going to advance our win condition? Clearly, you aren’t a templar knight. If you’re going to flip chaotic evil then you’re much more likely a terror knight, and that very definitely makes you a threat to town because you have a kill! I know because I could see it while I was berserker.

Has LightFoot been cleared? By whom? I honestly don’t get any reading from her, though after I think you’d shared some of my info with her and we were getting along and all, she stopped trusting me. Crapples, I don’t remember what happened, but I think it was because I voted for someone she didn’t, or vice versa? After that she basically did a 180 and snapped the equivalent of, “That’s it, I don’t trust you anymore” and that was the end of our conviviality.

I wouldn’t say I’ve cleared her, I’m just trying not to label someone as scum when they distrust me. (For obvious example: Gadarene.) There’s gotta be more than that.

Well, in so much as she lied and I told the truth. I attacked LightFoot Day One with my petty 25hp attack. As Michael Scott would say: “BAM! Sorted.” Haven’t touched her since, though, unless my memory is off and I healed her at some point (I don’t think so, though, and last Night’s heal was definitely not me).

I only had one action that I wanted to perform last Night–an action that demands my full attention, shall we say (meaning I can’t perform other actions while doing it)–and unfortunately, it wasn’t successful.

I don’t think anyone did answer and I’m glad you asked this, because I’d forgotten all about it. The fact that all those objects were dropped and the staff is still missing indicates that someone is hiding the truth from Astral for some reason, and presumably a nefarious one. (Otherwise why lie? Oh, okay, one reason: not trusting Astral.)

Why Inner? Unless you’re implying he killed fubbles in search of the object? (Actually I’m only assuming he was the one who killed fubbles. He was an assassin, self-admitted.)

I got nothing for killing fubbleskag except a sense of accomplishment.

Guiri, I imagine Fubble’s green scepter was the answer Astral was looking for.

Gadarene, what more must I do to make you love me? I tried to kill Scathach for Normal and when it seemed like the will of the players was against fubbleskag, I took him out. I don’t know what more I can do to show you where my alliance lies. All I know is that since I can win when all the threats to town are gone, I must not be a threat to town.

Since no one moved against me in the night, I will relax and state that right now, my plan is to assassinate the lynch runner up Tonight unless I am the runner up in which case the third place player will be my target. If, you come to a consensus as to a better target for me, I will be more than happy to eliminate them for you. I see no reason not to give town two bites at the apple.

To respond to ** choie ** I attempted a few Pm conversations. the response that you had to a post in game of mine set my teeth on edge and I decided to close up shop on entertaining outside trust conversations.= not that anyone has really tried to open conversations with me anyway=except septimus sharing his actions.
Anything I’m willing to share in private might just as well be public. ( 'specially in this game where we had a minimum of information in the reveals and such)
I have no idea who the bad guys are and if I’m willing to share info with anyone it may as well be all.
