I can’t imagine that did much for you as all I was doing was class change. I hope it helps you trust me. It’s a pity you didn’t spend it elsewhere though as we could have done with some solid info.

And yeah, I did have a reason. I thought of white knights as our strongest protection against Phere. I have an option to change class, and thought that might be a good way to go. Also, there’s the slim chance an extra vote would buy us some leeway time wise.
How does that work, guarding yourself? What % of the damage do you receive?

Guiri: where you write that Phere was attacked by Silver Jan for 100 hp during the day on, e.g., Day Two and Day Three? That’s wrong; that was me.
(Silver Jan,) There was never much I could offer via PMs as trust fodder on an email. I’ve been pretty out on the main thread all along. I probably wouldn’t enjoy the whole PM thing anyway. I just find it hard playing town on the outside of the inner circle of trust. It seems to self-reinforce, and in my extremely limited PM experience, I was told I wasn’t trusted enough. So I gave up.
I think if I had some juicy info to share, I may have had a better chance.
From the outside, I can’t actually judge the robustness of the inside. Not that I’m an experienced judge of these matters, but I’m here to judge as best I can. Calling you a cabal was (apart from slightly dramatic coming from typing half asleep at 4am or something) just about your seeming impenetrableness.
So, I get frustrated when suspicion turns my way. I think, no, don’t turn here it would be a waste. What can I do to turn you away? Because everything’s already on the table.
(Guiri, I think,) I changed to berserker for a day. There was going to be 2 days before I had enough levels to change to bard and Pizza had just said try classes. I was chaotic good, and that was an option I hadn’t heard of people trying. When I got there, the only other option I could see on that line that wasn’t visible as fighter was Terror Knight. It required chaotic evil, and it could kill. I still have no idea why I could see that. I wish I’d asked. But I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. Berserker with its continued attack (could keep attacking a day target into the night) felt like it was fast tracking me to evil-land. I wanted to stay good. I mean, I know I have a choice and all, but it felt tainted. I wouldn’t have enjoyed it.
I don’t think I have anything against vigilantes as a role. I think it can be dangerous, of course. But chaotic evil seems to be (nothing is certain anymore) anti-town. When I was offered a change to neutral, I was warned of win con changes. I shudder to think what that might mean in evil.

My point was, you can’t. I just thought I’d seen people claim to do it, so I tried, and was told it’s not possible. I must have misread, though, because I can’t seem to find anyone saying it in search, now.
