Hey all, I’m back and a tad surprised that Night has been so quiet overall. Considering the utter clusterfuck that was the Astral vote, I’d have expected more chattiness. But OTOH I see that I wasn’t the only one who had timing issues, so that’s probably why we’ve been generally silent.
Of course I’m sure the scum board is plenty busy. :dubious:
Are there any Night actions we can coordinate on that we should be contemplating? I just feel as if the clock is ticking and we’re all sitting ducks (well, all but a few of us) if we don’t get organized here.
umm. well.. broadcasting to Scum is generally frowned upon. they do have their Night actions to contemplate.. and they don’t share?

it’s almost 3am; I was in the middle of a dream when the kiddo woke up hungry - in the dream, I was writing a script that checks mafia game threads regularly and logs who is online creating a line chart showing player activity during Day/Night phases. if I have another such dream, I may have to quit mafia altogether.

Shorter phases? Legend has it in some dark dank corner of the internet, there are mafia games run with 24 hour phases. Who knows why these sick and twisted people run on such awful timelines? It’s a mystery for the ages.

Uh, yeah, I think anyone seeing a smudge in that innocuous comment is doing what my shrink calls “projecting.”
Plus, I don’t smudge. I’m pretty much a bull in a china shop when it comes to this game, as Normal can attest. When I call someone out, you’ll know it.
Couple comments –
I don’t trust Guiri. Though he’s given me an “I’d sort of like to live a while for once” explanation privately, he’s not entirely acting like himself thus far, more of an approximation. His town style is notorious in faced-him-as-scum circles for its aggression, particularly in terms of asking very good questions, and a LOT of them. In this game he seems to be more of the “sit back and analyze” approach. He seems to have been wrong about Astral, which is no crime, but staying out of the fight almost entirely kinda is.

realitytrip – exchanged several PMs with him and will probably not persecute him in the morning, but am not inclined to defend him much either. Some of his explanations for his comments ring true, but as long as he’s only making them to me I can’t give them all that much credence. I don’t particularly think he’s mafia, though.
