First of all, you were not “right” about anything. You made what you admitted at the time was an OMGUS vote. Let’s look at the interaction again.

Thing Fish voted for you in D3#638. First he says that ToeJam is probably lying scum. Then he says that ProfP should be a lynch contender rather than Idle. Then he says he did a reread on you.

More on this in a moment. Let’s look at Meeko’s vote on you in D3#319

Meeko’s vote actually kind of sucked, he never followed up on it, and it stayed on you through the end of the day. So here’s your response to Thing Fish’s vote:

Meeko’s vote is fair even though he basically ghosted after placing it. But Thing Fish, who built a (weak) case, is apparently scummy for building it.

But it’s this line that makes you look suspicious.

This vote feels to me like it’s being cast by someone scummy who knows my alignment is Town and has knowledge about me, possibly from an investigation or whatnot.

This makes no sense at all. Scum really couldn’t care less what alignment you are - they need to kill everyone who isn’t on their team. And there’s nothing in his post that would suggest he somehow knows you’re Town rather than a cultist or a Mafioso.

No, that entire post feels manufactured. It 100% sounds like you’re creating an opportunity to a) declare that you’re town and b) do so in a conversation with someone that you know will someDay flip scum.

Then you vote for him. So now he’s got a safe/worthless vote on you and you’ve got a safe/worthless vote on him. This is a pretty common scum tactic. Manufacture a little scuffle between teammates, get some pro-town votes on the record.

And then, the cherry on all of this is your response to my comment about pinging:

This is you taking credit for something that you can’t reasonably take credit for. The only way you were “right about Thing Fish being scummy” in the context of your exchange is if we agree that you knew it all along.

More Khameleon thoughts. Please note that rereads in this game are going to be pretty focused and I won’t be able to track down all the threads of every conversation. I welcome all corrections.

This stuff is pretty minor, but I’m reading with an eye towards Khameleon being a wolf and seeing what pops out at me.

D2#66. Makes an “oh no” comment about the town deaths and then is actually the one who floats the idea that Idle might be inactive for meta reasons. He got it backwards, but it still started that conversation. If this was a purposeful scum move (getting it wrong to get the ball rolling), it was crazy clever.

D2#207: When talking about scum, refers to them as “Wolf and Mafia” teams rather than collectively as scum. Prioritizes the wolf team.

D3#593: Votes Idle for meta reasons even though he doesn’t like meta reasons. Is also the one who brought up said meta reasons.

There’s honestly not much more to go on. Very little posting, but that’s what I got out of a brief reread.

Two wolves down, so we have third party killer on the loose. With two scum teams, the voting record is less useful than usual, and jsgoddess’ list holds little water.

Pleo vs Think Fish - Pleo’s case was that Thing knew something about the scum boards; but for Pleo to call that out he’d have to be scum too…staged wolf on wolf banter, mafia on wolf, or did pleo figure out something the rest of us missed. Undecided.

The beta wolf seems to be a fairly limited role as the beta getting killed when the target was someone else just gets the original target lynched/killed next cycle - seems to be a role that only has value at the end game. So jsgoddess was most likely the true target. I was pretty neutral on her, need to back and look at what she posted.

Given Thing’s flip, I agree this post from Khameleon is even stranger than it was on the first read.

The only “investigative” role the scum have are the one shot watch that the omega wolf/consigliere have. “knowledge about me” is more of a bakery than a breadcrumb that Khameleon is claiming a power and did something that he thinks someone saw him do.
Why did Khameleon pretty much admit he was up to something at night? over reaction to a singe vote? schoolboy error?
If he is a town power, why did the mafia or 3rd party killer not take him out?
Something is not adding up.

Total makes a fair case on DiggitCamara in d3#1024, worthy of some further thought/discussion.

Yes, I’m riding the coattails of Johnny Bravo and BillMc here. I really don’t have anything additional to add to the case. It’s a pretty solid one.

I’d also be happy with a Diggit lynch, as I’ve mentioned previous Days.

Boozy, too. (Though, I don’t find him as scummy as the other two.)

Those are my top suspects right now. I would be in favor of lynching 2 of those 3 toDay.
