Let me make my thought process as crystal as possible, because I’m concerned that I’ve been somewhat incoherant.

1. Day Four Dawns. Angel is dead. She’s town.

2. BoozySquid (that’s me) thinks to himself “Crap. Not only did we lose two townies last night, but Angel was Town.”

3. BoozySquid realize that the heat he’s been taking over the past few days is likely to increase because he was on the wrong side of a now-confirmed-dead Townie.

4. BoozySquid determines that Angel was likely killed by the Wolves.

5. BoozySquid wonders why the wolves would kill Angel instead of some other Townie. To slander him! (He’s a bit of a narcissist, you know)

6. Boozy looks at who the wolves might have been protecting: the second place vote-getter from yesterday! Places vote without much further consideration.

7. BoozySquid realizes how obnoxious it is to write about himself in the third person and promises not to do it again.

I thought I was done tonight. I lied.

Between this and your previous post I flagged for follow up, I’m getting all sorts of pings from you here.

You know, when someone dies in this game, my first thought isn’t “well shit. This totally implicates me, doesn’t it?” And my first action isn’t to come online and try to explain to people how this totally doesn’t implicate me.

First, because the thought would never occur to me to do so. But second, because I know I’m innocent, so why would I need to bother trying to justify or premtively explain anything? If someone wants to make a case, let them. I’m innocent.

But these don’t look like the actions of an innocent guy. You sure are trying to spend a heck of a lot of time justifying what should be a complete non-

I believe it was folly, I just don’t think it necessarily points to town. I don’t know if you are town or mafia, but you have succeeded in convincing me you aren’t a wolf.

Pleo seemed important enough for TF to go after him for three Days. What makes me think more wolves than TF are involved is because the case against Pleo was pretty weak and Jsgoddess, another wolf, also joined the case. Maybe the wolves needed a town person to try and lynch and they thought Pleo was a good target? Maybe Pleo is a wolf and the other wolves are engaging in subterfuge by being suspicious of him? Maybe as you stated, TF turned an argument around on Pleo, and other wolves decided to join?

I don’t think that everyone who was suspicious of Pleo is scum. But I think the people who were suspicious of Pleo are worth a closer look. The reason I picked Hooker is because he seemed more suspicious of Pleo than everyone else.

I’ve made my case against Hooker and I’m sticking with it until something better comes along. If you don’t like it then vote for someone else.

Day One? Sure. Who cares if people think you’re scum. Hell, who cares if you’re lynched, as long as you’re not a critical power role?
Day Four, when 12 out of 14 (or whatever the actual count is; I think that’s about right) dead people are town? And the town’s power roles are half of those dead townies? I worry about a mislynch.

That’s interesting, I read the whole situation as either Pleo was scum and trying to take a stab at Thingfish but it turned sour… or… they were both scum but on different teams.

A sober-er me can drag it up if needed ( later) but my take was Scum Pleo was grasping on ThingFishes disagreement/confusion over Pleo’s initial post on the subject. I didn’t speak to me about ThingFishes alignment either way but I saw ( see) Pleo as Scum

Wanna help me with something? I’m going to start rereading D1,2, and 3. Can you provide vote numbers and summaries if I were to ask for them? For example, I’d like to see who jumped off the main contenders on D1, the count at the time of their vote change and any reasoning they give. If it’s too much, I’ll do without or figure it out later, but I figured with your skill at figures it might be a lot easier for you to figure out than I.

Yes, I’m riding the coattails of Johnny Bravo and BillMc here. I really don’t have anything additional to add to the case. It’s a pretty solid one.

I’d also be happy with a Diggit lynch, as I’ve mentioned previous Days.

Boozy, too. (Though, I don’t find him as scummy as the other two.)

Those are my top suspects right now. I would be in favor of lynching 2 of those 3 toDay.

Oh, I can also see myself voting for Prof. Pepperwinkle if it’s needed for a double lynch, but he’d be my fourth pick for the votes.

A Mafia Glossary.

Perfect Information Syndrome: When a mafioso accidentally reveals he knows more than the average uninformed townie really should, either through directly declaring such information while talking about something else, or through their voting patterns.

I’m going to take one issue with this definition. PIS refers to any time any role consciously or subconsciously, accidentally or intentionally states additional knowledge beyond what the game at large knows/could reasonably surmise. It’s not just a mafioso thing. Town power roles have been targeted by scum who sniff out that the player is revealing information that they shouldn’t know if they’re merely vanilla.

Good question, and I’m not sure I know the answer. They (scums) do seem to be taking out the top yappers and solid players pretty consistently…but with so many to choose from…yeah, might be too early.

I am way behind in this game. Sorry folks, life overwhelmed me. I will do my best to catch up and contribute. I am finally off work Wednesday.

I don’t see why loud talkers/ super Scum hunters would survive long in this game even if they are Scum. The other Scum team would eventually kill them I would think.

I can’t speak for them, but if they were anything like me…I was d-o-n-e DONE with Idle at that point, and had no interest in following any links he might post. I didn’t know he posted a screenshot until someone else said so, and can safely say I wouldn’t care. That’s inadmissible evidence IMO. In the last game at GB, when he was mod-killed, he started a thread about his modkill while the game was still ongoing and implored active players to come comment on the active game, in an thread outside of the game. I wasn’t having any of that either. I wasn’t voting for him during his game, but my help wasn’t needed there, and I had zero problems with him being yesterDay’s lynch. I think it’s kinda crummy that you would try to take anybody to task for not unvoting him after he posted a gd mf screenshot. That’s so outside the spirit of the game to do in the first place.

You’ve stated you’re non hostile. You’ve stated that your intention is to help Town. But you place a vote on me simply because I questioned your story’s legitimacy and then checked out the rest of the Day. That’s not helping Town. That’s being lazy.

I’m sorry did you miss the post when I said I had been sick? I literally lost 4 whole days and I’m working through the surgical recovery on my shoulder. I mean I like this game but I have alot going on right now. It’s not just your questions. I mean you tend to posts a few posts early and then not really come back til near EoD. I have been rereading you but I haven’t had the time to compose a really well worded post with proof yet but it looks like that you are posting just enough to be seen but not enough to be noticed.

If we can drum up participation I’m pro double lynch for the same reason I’m pro vigs killing whenever possible. Town directed kills are better than Non-town kills.

Given that every suspect from day 1 was town, I’d expect to scum to divide their votes. I need to go over the vote records, but would consider it a minor town cred to share votes with the wolves. Of course there are two scum types, and it won’t say anything about the other one.

Crys: I might have missed it, but did you ever investigate and confirm Sachertorte?

I’m not doing that at all. This has nothing to do with people who didn’t unvote him – it’s about the two people who actively voted for him even though he was as close to confirmed town as can be. That just a special kind of messed up to me.

I just saw that as frustration tbh. Plus he was already quite far ahead as lynch leader.

Also, the people pointing out that lynching the cultists doesn’t provide any information make a good point. Frustrating, but a good point. Seems like 3rd party vs PFK is a big enough distinction to be counted as different factions but ok. I still remain pro double lynch but doubt we’ll get the numbers.

But why wouldn’t you? Sorry if this is just something I missed people discussing before, but it seems very strange to me that you wouldn’t leap at the chance to confirm someone to yourself even admitting that you only get one confirmation per game.
