I am not paul
but it is Perfect Information Syndrome
Perfect Information Syndrome: When a mafioso accidentally reveals he knows more than the average uninformed townie really should, either through directly declaring such information while talking about something else, or through their voting patterns.
Because I was looking for why I was looking for why scum would kill Angel. While I was feeling a scum lean on her, not many other people were, but she and I have had a lot of back and forth, and I felt like it was a sladner. So I looked for who scum might have been trying to protect by framing me.
NETA: slander. (killing a Town Angel makes me look like a better lynch target)

before someone says this is out of character for me- today was not the day to give me something to bite on ( on any level)
beers are helping and I will explain my quips if/when asked
You kind of looked like one anyway. are you saying you think your voters are mostly Scum?
EOD (last) your lynch would not have saved a Scum- I don’t see the connection.
I have not researched the timing at this time and the barley pop will prevent that this evening. I will look see with clearer head though
I think that if ProfP eventually flips scum, then there will certainly be those in Idle’s voting bloc who would have had an opportunity to unvote him, but did not do so in order to save ProfP.
So yes, if ProfP flips scum, then I’d have to say PlumPudding and CTTDSWHCookies would look exceptionally suspicious, as well as any in the Idle voting bloc who posted at some point between Idle’s final post and the end of day, but did not remove their vote from a near-certain town-aligned player (haven’t looked at who that would encompass yet).
What? Why kill Angel? She was Professor’s biggest defender come EoD. And she slipped town, if Prof is a wolf it wouldn’t make sense for the wolves to kill someone who is defending him.

No. I imagine that there are some scum amongst the people that have said they have scum pings on me, but I imagine that like most “scum leans” in these games, it’s mostly town.
I was suggesting that today a lynch of me would prevent a lynch of scum. So pushing a case against me with the death of Angel would galvanize Town away from someone else. I looked at yesterday’s vote total to find out who might be the obvious frontrunner for lynch today that scum might want to nudge away from.
You beat me to it, but this was exactly my reaction.

It does indeed, I am even more against lynching cultists with that. Thank you for pointing out the obvious.

Let me make my thought process as crystal as possible, because I’m concerned that I’ve been somewhat incoherant.
-
Day Four Dawns. Angel is dead. She’s town.
-
BoozySquid (that’s me) thinks to himself “Crap. Not only did we lose two townies last night, but Angel was Town.”
-
BoozySquid realize that the heat he’s been taking over the past few days is likely to increase because he was on the wrong side of a now-confirmed-dead Townie.
-
BoozySquid determines that Angel was likely killed by the Wolves.
-
BoozySquid wonders why the wolves would kill Angel instead of some other Townie. To slander him! (He’s a bit of a narcissist, you know)
-
Boozy looks at who the wolves might have been protecting: the second place vote-getter from yesterday! Places vote without much further consideration.
-
BoozySquid realizes how obnoxious it is to write about himself in the third person and promises not to do it again.
Perfect Information Syndrome. When someone knows something town shouldn’t know the have PIS.

ToeJam was the Doctor. It’s difficult to see him protecting anyone else, so yes, I would say that he was almost certainly self protecting last Night. From which it follows that the Hitman is his most likely cause of death.
Do you think it at all likely that he did not self protect last Night? (Yes, I know it is not a certainty. But it does look the most likely scenario).

So your case is that for an unknown reason the wolves decided that Pleo needs to go and were mounting a campaign against him in order to get him lynched? And that the “suspicions” of two known scum means anyone else that was also suspicious makes them scummy? If you had knowledge of Pleo alignment I could see this case, but even then you can’t seriously think all the wolves are at play here? If so, that would make Pleo a pretty big deal for them, and if that’s the case, why is he still alive?
Pleo seemed important enough for TF to go after him for three Days. What makes me think more wolves than TF are involved is because the case against Pleo was pretty weak and Jsgoddess, another wolf, also joined the case. Maybe the wolves needed a town person to try and lynch and they thought Pleo was a good target? Maybe Pleo is a wolf and the other wolves are engaging in subterfuge by being suspicious of him? Maybe as you stated, TF turned an argument around on Pleo, and other wolves decided to join?
Meanwhile, you’ve got town hunting all scum and mafia hunting town and wolves… so everyone is voicing suspicions and some honest suspicions are coming from everyone. We have reason to. So we are voicing suspicions and it benefits scum sometimes and they capitalize on that… that doesn’t make us wolves, or scum in general…
I don’t think that everyone who was suspicious of Pleo is scum. But I think the people who were suspicious of Pleo are worth a closer look. The reason I picked Hooker is because he seemed more suspicious of Pleo than everyone else.
You think Hooker is a wolf? Show me more. Right now your vote reads to me as mafia trying to use capitalize on their recent FU to the wolves by pushing poor logic and voting in the pool that was suspicious of Pleo. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that you are mafia, and Pleo is town, and since the wolves doubled up on him, and he’s not on your team, that makes him likely town and a safe place to act as a guardian.
If you think hooker is scum, show me why… back this up with something else he has posted that reinforces your case. It’s D4, there are plenty of posts to go through… surely there must be more.
If you are town, you can do better than this.
If you are scum, well… you can do better than this.

I’ve made my case against Hooker and I’m sticking with it until something better comes along. If you don’t like it then vote for someone else.

I like it. You cut straight to the point. You should play this way all the time.

Got it. The bumbling dolt vote. Been there, done that, and been voted for it.

If you are scum back pedaling, you play a really good paranoid townie…or mafia concerned about retaliation. I wasn’t concerned about you being scum because Angel died, but I’m a little more suspicious now. If there is some weird conspiracy out to get you, they aren’t doing a very good job and you should have let them take the initiative… but then paranoia does cause one to get triggerhappy.

I am. If you are gonna one and done, that tells me a lot, especially when the one isn’t very convincing and you are around enough to defend it.
