You’re right. I was looking at the vote totals from yesterday, not so much Angel’s specific actions. This game has a lot to take account of, and I’m not doing the diligence I would have if it was a bit smaller.

I’m sorry, but it’s bugging me so I have to add that it really bothers me that you are calling on Angel’s good name like this. Read her words. She said that Hooker would be a good place to start. As in, if you are going to go down that rabbit hole, that’s where I would start looking. Not, come in first thing and cast a vote in my name for Hooker. I interpreted her words to mean “This might be possible, I’m not gonna spend to much time on it. If you do, start with Hooker, I’m suspicious of him already which means you might be right.”

I’m a bit surprised that ToeJam actually was truthful. He was almost certainly self protecting last Night, so he was probably a victim of the Hitman. Angel was probably the wolf kill, so again there was no vig kill. It looks like our vig is indeed out of action.

This seems the most likely scenario. Alternatively, the vigilante got TJ, but I think scum have the only switch and are keeping Batman locked down.

If the group votes true- and we get 2 lynches- so be it. But if it is orchestrated *at all *the accountablilty factor will be removed .
Unless -yes there is one - Player is voting the lynch leader and is suspect of the runner up too when the threshold is reached- switching then will include the burden.

You could argue that the Wolves wanted the last image of Townie Angel to be was how sure she was of Prof being Town. The problem with that logic is that there was no way for them to know that Angel wouldn’t flip Mafia. If she does, how many people are coming in right now and beating the drum hard to lynch Prof since he’s clearly Mafia now? A lot. Too risky a plan I think.

Not just the top vote getter, not the top two, but the top FOUR vote getters Day One were town. If there were scum jumping, it was likely to be to get on a viable candidate that wasn’t going to flip town at Dusk.

I would seem they would’t toss that bit out in the reveal ( thus confirming the LUTHA) but… you never know.

And I understand that a lot of people don’t agree with my methods. I’m Town and don’t want to be an imposition to others finding Scum. While I would much really rather live through the game, if Town votes to lynch me, I won’t take it personally.

I am not feeling well at the moment, so i doubt I will spending much on the game tonight. I don’t like the orchestrating of the 2nd lynch, because it seems like the vote record becomes useless. If people switch around the votes JUST to get the 2nd lynch, then you can’t really analyze it the next day, right?

Two players really pinged me at the end-of-day yeterDay.

In Post 882, Idle flamed out, posting a screenshot which effectively proved his townliness. Once he did that, he was all-but-confirmed, and was likely going to be modkilled if he wasn’t lynched.

He did that late enough in the Day that it likely wasn’t going to save him, having a pretty good lead in the vote count. Still, better to lynch an unknown than a known-town, so I (and several others) unvoted him. However, we also had these two:

1: PlumPudding unvoted Idle in Post 889, but then revoted him a half-hour later in Post 897.

2: ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies voted for him in Post 917.

In both these cases, we had players voting for town. Did he deserve a vote before posting that screenshot? Absolutely – I didn’t beleive a word of his claim. But once he made that post, he was as close as known town as one can be without specific mod confirmation. So to PlumPudding and ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies, I would love an explanation – why would you vote for town knowing that he was town? Alternately, did you have some reason to think his claim was in some way false?

It’s hard to assign scum motivation to anyone voting for Idle. What was the alternative? Enough people unvoted, ProfP was lynched and Idle truly went idle and was mod-killed today. Two deaths as opposed to one. Wouldn’t scum like that better? Unless you think ProfP was scum, and the people voting Idle were trying to save ProfP???

Perfect Information Syndrome. Something scums usually have over town. But it is a bit muddier this game.
